This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]464173[/split]
I'd definitely go with Batman in the batcave, full suit except for the cowl. Think the new Arkham Origins trailer. Where you see Bruce walking around the cave with his cowl off. Could be pretty effective, especially if he is sitting in front of his massive computer. What exactly would the first image be though? Ben as Bruce? Ben in full batman outfit which would pretty much have most of his face obscured anyways?
Not so simple as the first Cavill superman image where you obviously have his face and costume both front and center.
What's funny to me is that in a post Schumacher /90s world, where the Dark Knight trilogy is highly regarded and 007 has been successfully rebooted, people act like WB cast Affleck because it was such a popular decision. Like he didn't pass screen tests, fittings, etc. Billion dollar movies are a relatively new thing. And honestly, since becoming a director his track record has been solid.

Ben Affleck being in good films doesn't necessarily mean he is right for Batman. But there is truth that some just won't be ok with him in the role even if he is great in it.Well said. From a fanboy perspective, there are a lot of hard feelings over Daredevil and the like which makes him unpopular. From a general audience perspective, there's still a lot of residual Bennifer/Gigli/Pearl Harbour hate that hampers people's ability to take him seriously, with "OMG Argo doesn't suck!" still being a common headline when Ben Affleck being good in movies hasn't been news for the best part of a decade, really. But from Warner Bros' perspective he is pretty much the golden child, safe as houses, a proven moneymaker and critical darling whose involvement in a film, going by his recent track record, makes that film's chances of success improve. From THAT perspective, he's something of a no-brainer candidate, even if the audience/fanboy reaction was "WHA!?!?!"

Who are you talking too?You will all be Affleckeded soon enough.
Variety talks about MOS well underperforming expectations leading to the Batman/Affleck casting.
Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, has grossed nearly $650 million worldwide since opening in mid-June. That was a solid performance but well below some expectations which had been raised partly due to former studio chief Jeff Robinovs prediction that it would be the top-grossing Warner movie of all time.

Darthskywalker I was literally just saying that exact thing to my wife about how they should first show him on screen...in the bat cave, cowl off, working on his computer.
Super catfight between Superman and Batman.Nah he should grow it out so Superman can swing from his lengthy locks.![]()

Fade In:
We see the events of Man of Steel. Superman fighting Kryptonians. Superman fighting Zod. We see the crater left in down town Metropolis.
Camera pulls away and we realize the events were on a monitor. A massive computer with three computer screens. One monitor replays the events from MOS, another has a display of Superman on the screen. The final screen has the Daily Planet on it.
A shadowy figure pushes away from the computer. Bats fly over head. The figure steps towards a table and we see Bruce Wayne in costume but not with the cape and cowl on.
On the table rest the cape and cowl. He puts them on and Batman stands before us.
He leaps into a supercharged Batmobile and races out of the Batcave.
Fade to black.
Thats how I would do it
