I ended up worrying about the wrong things for this film. The voice ended up being just fine

None of those are necessarily guaranteed, but I do love the strong implication oh his storied past. They have a wealth of material pre-BvS.

I'm torn on whether I want that explored.

I know the feeling. Great to see Batman not having to breathe 3 times to say an entire sentence.

I think universally across the board by fans, critics and fanboys alike that the best aspect of the film is Ben Affleck nailed it as Batman/Bruce Wayne.

Yeah, him and Irons both nailed it.

Same. I don't doubt that Affleck did a good job, but a Batman that's [BLACKOUT]killed people in the manner that this Batman has done[/BLACKOUT] is pretty much dead to me.

^ Yeah, but that's a script/direction issue. Batfleck's biggest problem was saying yes to Snyder.

So are people okay with batman killing parademons? I am not sure how they are supposed to fight parademons without killing them since there are so many of them. I mean didnt the avengers technically kill a ton of aliens/monsters in Avengers 1?

    Meh Batman has killed before
Its about him coming out of that mindset and being better which is what the ending and scenes with Luthor represented

    Parademons aren't people.

    That isn't a good thing.

Batman doesn't need to kill people to be portrayed as someone who has gone, or will go, off the deep end. I think the branding and blatant brutality would've sufficed.

The no kill rule shouldn't count when it comes to aliens/monsters/creatures.

It doesn't. Even BTAS Batman killed a monster.

The kill rule is most important to me when discussions about the Joker arise. There's no explanation why he cam blow up Lex's thugs but not put a bullet through Leto's skull. That argument alone is why I would prefer if he didn't kill. Snyder messed that up, IMO. What's done is done though, I'm not sure how they're going to justify to the GA Batfleck sparing his life one day in a future solo film or in the Suicide Squad. We shall see I guess...

Oh awesome, I love this rule. Now Batman can kill puppies and kittens all day, and it's ok.

Puppies and kittens would fall under the "creature" category, actually.

Ben was still in Los Angeles as of Monday. Justice League is supposed to be starting this week, right?

He might not be needed for a while. It's also possible that he's flying back and forth from London to LA to spend time with his family.

Like a lot of you, I want the film to be delayed so that another director can be found, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Don't read too much into something that isn't there.
