BvS Ben Affleck IS Batman - - - Part 30

So, I'm having trouble trying to figure out why Batman would need a rifle. I get the imagery, he used one in TDKR. But, why have one in the movie. If he's using it as a grapple gun, why doesn't he have a more...advanced Batmanish one? Not really nitpicking, just wondering why he would need one in the movie.

I think it looks more Bat-advanced than the one he used in Dark Knight Returns. Making it larger and taking out the browns makes it appear less old fashion rifle and more SWAT-like.

As of right now, nothing tops this look for Bruce Wayne.

Affleck definitely looks like BTAS Bruce though.

He was a young playboy Bruce come to life when he was younger.

I'm liking what I've seen of Affleck's wardrobe. The blue suit (from the set photos) and the blazer (from the trailer) both looked quite nice.

Also: last time I'll bring it up unprompted: I think the above photo of Affleck demonstrates that he looks both better and more like Wayne with shorter hair.

KillerWolf, in regards to your post about the BTAS Bruce's suit being ugly and 80s, it wasn't. The colour and styling was intended to be 1930s/1940s to go with the show's "Dark Deco" aesthetic and pulpy noir style.

EDIT: BoyScout, I agree about the tweedish sportcoat in the trailer and how it is paired with what appears to be a dark polo. It screams casual, American wealth to me.

Yeah, I know that it was, though for some reason that suit always seemed more 80's than 30's/40's to me. And I never liked it much.

I absolutely loved the overall "dark deco" aesthetic of that show though.

Definitely. It looks really nice, and is definitely something I would expect Wayne to wear.

Is it true that Ben Affleck has his own personal Batcave or am I just a gullible fool who believes everything he reads on the internet? I heard a few people saying that he does recently and I have read a few articles saying that he does too.

Sounds weird:hehe:

In his old house(that Kevin Smith now owns), Affleck made a panic room in his house, and he designed the entrance to look like the bat cave. So now Kevin Smith jokes that he owns the Batcave.

Am I the only one that hears Batman saying "Alien" In the early monologue in the trailer?

We're all thinking (and hoping) that's his actual Batman voice.

I thought it was Lex...I remember in the Yahoo fan event Snyder says Lex refers to Superman as The Alien

That voice sounded nothing like Lex and I doubt he'll be the only one calling Superman an alien.

Yeah, it doesn't sound like Eisenberg's Lex at all.

And Batman would also call him the "alien".

Thank you. I was wondering if that story was true (or to what extent that it was true).

I always thought it was Lex, speaking in a harsh whisper. I never even considered that it was Batman. Somehow, I don't think it is.
