The Dark Knight Rises Billy Zane?

Billy Zane is like a C-List actor at best at this point in his career. Either just make him a random mob boss in the Gotham underworld, or some hopeful DA trying to rise up in the place of Harvey Dent and Dawes...I really wouldn't want to see him as any real pivotal rogues gallery villain. It would be a waste.

What exactly makes him C List? The fact that he doesn't give a dogs testicles about what types of movies he does?

Put it this way, Zane is a better actor than man so called "A listers" out there.
So what if he does low budget movies these days?
Val Kilmer does the same these days, but do you think he gives a damn?

I'm sick of these so called suggestions people have that only "A List" or specific "big name" actors can be in big budget movies, and nobody else.

Nolan does right, he gets actors who he knows will get the job done, that he's either worked with before or who he likes, regardless of what previous roles they have done. You only have to see that he filled BB and TDK with british actors, many you probably never heard of before, but were well known on UK TV, either from film or tv roles.

Not to mention that he actually gave some decent roles to Eric Roberts, Michael Jai White and several others in TDK.

I'm glad Nolan brought back Tom Berenger back for Inception, thats an actor with more talent than many so called A Listers.

Good work Nolan, bring on some more "C Listers" as many here seem to regard them.

I would much rather see Zane as Lex than anyone in Batman.

Lists mean nothing when you get down to talent. People on certain lists bring the picture more money usually but when you get into comic book adaptations you may as well throw lists out the window.

You already have built in audiences, hell, having big names attached may drive people away rather than bring them in.

Well said.

Billy Zane is an OK actor but he looks weird and out of place in every movie he's in.

Zane seems typecast as any kind of badguy with an uppity attitude...He won't give the audiences much surprise..

Has anyone thought about Billy Zane for the Joker in a Dark Knight Returns movie? If Nolan goes for it and is going to do a Dark Knight Returns movie Zane could probably it pull off and it's an odd choice. But I think it's kind of obvious he's meeting for Luthor if anything, which would be good.

Imagine Zane with a green hair piece with a flashy white suit, that would be an awesome sight in Nolan's Gotham in my opinion
