that doll from the scary movies?
Prince Charles is thinking "I am 70 now, so I will be 90 when I take the throne"
Charles: Those are riding rather low! Pull your trousers up old boy!
Ralph: Yes your highness!
Craig's suits are a much better fit this time 'round. I can feel this movie is going to bring back the excitement and visceral atmosphere of CR/QoS and I'm so here for it.
Uuuggghhh, it seems they screwed up Craig's suits again. I was really hopeful that with Mendes and Jany Temime gone, we would get some sensibly cut, dashing English suits this time. However, it seems they have gone right back to the worst of the worst from Skyfall. An overly skinny cut is back as is the silly, overly fussy tab collar from Skyfall. Now, they have also added a tie clip to boot (Is he supposed to be Sterling Archer now?). It's just a poor mishmash of styles.
The choice of colours is not very flattering on Craig's complexion either. The navy tie with white shirt and light grey suit is too high contrast for Craig's low contrast complexion. A pale blue shirt and lighter blue tie would have been far more flattering.
I have a question: has anyone gotten this?
I was going to get it, but got confused when the reviews for it for for the ultimate version with a different cover. I assume, I want it to be, the 24 films with every single special feature on these movies such as the inside documentaries from the original DVDs back int he day. Is this it?
They should give him a dark suit, which would look more classic. Pale ones can end up looking dated in the future.
I think it would have been interesting if Prince Charles had a cameo.
Charles- You've done it this time Bond. License Revoked.
I agree this suit he's wearing could be a much better fit (his suits in QoS are the best fit of his era), however I dont think what he's wearing for this movie isn't as bad as the shorter and tighter cut of SF or SP. I do agree with you that the inclusion of the tie pin and the tab collar shirts should be abandoned.Sadly those first couple of photos were deceiving. If you watch the full video of the visit, we are right back to the Skyfall look and fit. Even the stupid tab collar on the dress shirt is back.
Well Maggie Thatcher had a cameo back in For Your Eyes Only
Somehow I don't think we're likely to get another Prime Minister in it ever again. Certainly not at the moment with everything up in the air.
To be fair, those are movement shots which accentuate fit issues. You might be right that the pants are fitted a little better and not quite so tight, but the jacket still has the same issues of pulling at the button and the shoulders are cut too narrow, which are two of the most aggregious fit issues possible.I agree this suit he's wearing could be a much better fit (his suits in QoS are the best fit of his era), however I dont think what he's wearing for this movie isn't as bad as the shorter and tighter cut of SF or SP. We never had these problems when the series hired proper blueblood British directors.
*new tabloid rumor*
“Costume designer and director clash over Bond wearing Levi’s!!!!!!”
I’m calling this the Bondmobile
It’s so out there.
IMO the last non conventional James Bond car was the lotus esprit.
He never drives super cars the likes of mclaren for example
