The Dark Knight Rises Bounty Hunters

^ Damn, you got me there. Hey, I'd been up way too long when I nerded out with that last post.

Lol, no problem. To be fair, I also believe Captain America and Shang Chi could beat Batman, just so you know I'm objective.

Except we never really saw Boba Fett actually win a fight in all his canonical appearances. And he met his demise after being poked with a blinded guy with a thin metal rod.

Oh yeah, that totally sounds like a guy that could beat Batman.

And yet he can.

So get over it.

;)

there was an episode of Batman: TAS in which Batman is hunted down by Bane

it was a dream sequence episode because Batgirl gets gassed by Scarecrow and she dreams that she is killed and Gordon wants to bring down Batman so he hires Bane to track him down

i thought that was a pretty awesome episode

though i don't know how Bane would work in the Nolan series

"Over the Edge". In my mind, the best episode that they ever did. Really startling in how mature and insightful an approach they took to the idea of both Batman and Wayne's whole existence (and really, the whole world around him) hanging on a thread, an how easily it could all be shattered in an instant. Amazing stuff.

"Over The Edge", my favorite episode of B:TAS.

And Bane could be used in a Nolan film easily, imo.

Steroids in liquid form called Venom used by syringes. But Bane shouldn't and doesn't have to be overly huge. He could just be a big guy before the Venom and after, but the Venom just makes him crazier; but this Bane should be highly intelligent, which would make me, a Bane fan, a happy camper after Schumacher destroyed the villain in Batman & Robin.

Right? It's like Smurfs vs. Pokemon.

Easy, Pokemon.

But only the first 151 Pokemon; those are the REAL Pokemon.

The three-episode TAS 'World's Finest' was also wonderful as well. At the time, I felt it was the best representation of Batman in a moving/sound format to date....until BB came along.

I believe 'Over The edge' and 'World's Finest' also had the same team of animators and director....it had a bit of an Japanese anime (the good kind) feel to it.

And just one more before we move on from it forever. :O

I love to watch World's Finest in my spare time...I have the DVD and it's pretty amazing except for two things: I despise the cover of the DVD because it doesn't look like the great animation in the "movie", and Joker doesn't have lips in the movie. His red lips are gone, and that's sad, imo.

A thing that George Lucas hides somewhere between his neck and his beard along with Howard The Duck.

I have a love-hate relationship with Star Wars...loved the original trilogy, but the prequel trilogy is just a comedy. It's like Lucas doesn't care if he pulls a rabbit out of his hat and introduces a plot hole.

I know what you mean about the cover....looks like it's targeting 3-yr-olds. I was okay with that Joker design later in the series. Different, but they used it pretty well.

Every Star Wars Movie aside from new Hope and Empire are crap.

Nope. They all rule.

(Oh, I know where this is going, but I'm always biting the SW bait)

I think World's Finest should definitely be given a Blu-Ray update, and be given a proper cover, lol. That's one DVD I tend to hide from the rest; I do not want my friends seeing that cover and think I like a cartoon for little kids, haha.

As for Joker's lips...that aspect bugged me because he barely had any, and then his hair was changed to look more jet black than green. I wasn't a fan on the change, and neither was Bruce Timm as he commented on those changes once before.

Nope. The original trilogy was obviously amazing, the prequel sucked, and most of the Clone Wars series sucks; although, The Force Unleashed has major hope. Too bad Lucasarts' president scrapped the idea for a third game to make it a trilogy :o

I say nope to your nope. I especially like the Prequels. People exaggerate with the OT love.

I am. I just think that people overlook the blatantly obvious flaws in the OT, just to take a shot at the PT. If I make a list with all the cringeworthy moments in the PT, I can make another list, just as lengthy, with the OT flaws.

The SW films are far from perfect and there are (obviously) movies out there that wipe the floor with them. But the hexalogy was always my #1 cinematic saga, not even in my top 5 of movies, but in a special place (far beyond the top 5), along with its flaws.

But then what, you still leave your comic books laying out in the open for the world to see? Might want to recheck those priorities. :oldrazz: :D

I wouldn't say I preferred it, but I felt they made up for those shortcomings with the animation and characterization. But they really got it down for that flashback sequence in Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker.

Back to the topic, lets get more deeper in this topic.
Who would hire the bounty hunters?
Will The Bounty Hunters cross paths with The Police in capturing The Batman?
What will be The Bounty Hunters true intentions in capturing The Batman? Is it for glory, or genuinely bring Batman to justice for the false crimes Batman has chosen to take burden?

In my opinion bounty hunters will not be enough to hold the story, but it is a good idea in the man hunt of Batman.
