I didn't forget it, in fact I mention it in my next paragraph. And if I had to pick some marriage-specific stories, that Annual would be at the top of the list. But in the end, it's a very short list. Ironically, as much as people hated it, I think MJ, became loads more interesting when they moved into Avengers Tower. I liked seeing her interact with the team. There was an issue of theat Marvel Romance gimmick that I thought was very good. Same to an extent with Aunt May and Steve Rogers. I thought there was a lot there to play off of, and it is one of the things that I will sincerely miss with BND.

In a way yes, but if you think how many relationship specific stories you'd get a shorter list (especially when you discount MJ), most of them just dealt with Pete missing dates cause he was fighting someone.

I agree MJ needs more interaction. It always felt like there should have been more of a supporting cast with MJ bringing in characters and personalities that Pete never dealt with before and that could have been cool. The first issue that comes to mind is when Pete and MJ moved and they each got their perspective friends to help. That was a fun concept seeing Harry, Flash and Betty along with Pete interact with rich elitists and a more fashionable crowd.

I thought May's interactions with the Avengers was pretty priceless. When she told of wolverine? That was gold. Plus I liked her interaction with the skrull-formally-known-as-Jarvis, they made a lot of sense as a couple.

so why is Spider-Mans' marriage so ****ing important to people while 98 percent of superheroes are single and no one seems to have an issue with it. I bet if Wolverine got married, you all would storm the Marvel offices in fanboy rage

It's not the marriage. If MJ died, I wouldn't be necessarily happy, but I'd still be reading. It's Peter Parker made a deal with the devil to force his elderly aunt that wanted to die to live again and as a result swiss cheesed the memory and significance out of countless people and moments in Spider-Man history. That, oddly, bothered some people.

I think there's a lot that could've been done with the fact that May and Steve were from the same generation. There was something very touching about that.

She's Russian..
That's awesome, my wife's from Ukraine (speaks Russian) Best looking women in the world.

If you ever read what those people did (their women included) during WWII, you'd immediately understand why that would be a very. bad. idea.

Just curious, is she really superstitious? My wife won't let me whistle in the house, she says it's bad luck.:cwink:

I've always wanted Marvel to just man up and officially kill MJ, but YOU (and thats in the general sense) would riot.....

He's right though.

She believes in testing her luck from time to time. The theory is that everyone gets an allotment, and so if you buy a lottery ticket and lose, you're bound for some good luck. Or she just likes the slots. I'm not sure. Besides, she used up all her luck on Me. :O

When they killed her last time I didn't riot (though I'm sure some did), I thought it was a crappy story but I kept buying. Only this and the clone saga have actually turned me to boycott.

Some people will riot over any change and that's messed up. I don't mind any change as long as the people are reasonable in character and there's a good story offered and some drama happened. I was probably one of the few people to not mind the Other.

I didn't mind The Other, though I thought it could have been a lot shorter.....I did like it from a philosophical standpoint...that being Spider-Man is a lot bigger than Peter Parker thought....

Like I posted before, most every species of spider produces its own web, why shouldn't Spider-Man? It doesn't mean he has an infinite supply, it just means his body produces it naturally, like a spider....if anyone can present a valid reason as to why he has to use "web fluid" I would appreciate it, and saying it is a testament to Petes' genius is NOT a valid reason....because its the only answer I have ever gotten to my above question and I am sick of it.

LOL!:woot: Thanks I needed that.

Yep, sounds like we're in the same boat. My wife likes to exaggerate a lot, one time we had a mosquito in the house, and she swore it was "an Eagle". You're a lucky guy.:yay:

maybe you both should set up a man-date or something....

Maybe you need to finally go out on a date.

Putting your font in bold doesn't make it a valid point but if I wanted to read about 2 married guys talking about how awesome it is to be married I'd watch Lifetime or Dr. Phil...

I'm not married.

I mean, seriously BL, are really gonna start one of these pissy "bold text not implying validity" arguments over some throwaway banter. Christ, you should follow Corpy around. I'd have to go another couple of pages like this to even get a ticket to the same ballpark. Chill out.

Lifetime has some good shows.

my mom would agree with you....apparently Project Runway might be moving there so you'll have some more stuff to watch

LOL! I watch PR with my wife, it's her favorite show! Thanks for the heads up, I'll let her know.

Auf weidersehn!!
