Breaking Bad - Part 2

Yea. Getting from point A to B in this show is like the most unpredictable roller coaster ride. Equal parts scary and fun.

the opening scenes were incredible. it gives the impression that walt's final fight is on. the question is...will it be against jessie or hank or both? actually it needs to be jessie after all the things he has done..it needs to be jessie but i think hank will be also a reason for walts run. the bomb is ticking and wouldnt suprise me if walt gets knocked out by his former student jessie. what a tragedy...

I kind of don't want Walt vs. Jesse to happen. It's far too predictable and obvious at this point. Which hopefully means it won't come to pass since this show is nothing if not unpredictable.

I'm just wondering if we'll know what the begging scene was by the end of season 5.1 or 5.2?

I don't know why, but I really want a flashback of Walt and Jessie meeting in high school. Just to show how far everything has come.

Am I the only one really hoping for Hank to die? I don't mean in a heartless sort of way, but after seeing the "beginning of the end" at the start of Season 5 yesterday, I can't help but think of all the possibly scenarios that could have put Walt in that position. My favorite is that Hank finds out the truth about Walt and his meth cooking and Walt has no choice to kill him. I feel like that would be the final end to old Walt, ya know? If he was to do that, he'd be going from spending days trying to kill one man to instantly killing a family member. Or Skylar goes dark and does it, but I much prefer Walt to be his killer if he was to die.

I've always wanted a scene like that. Jesse being a dick in class or Walt being too hard on him. I would love a good flashback to those days.

There are four characters on the show that I would be really upset if they died. I never thought I would say this when I started watching Breaking Bad, but Hank is one of them.

I think it will happen but I think it will be over far quicker than we expect. I'm personally expecting Jesse to destroy Walt's life before he ever sees it coming.

Hmm...when Jesse was in the hospital after Hank beat him up he made it very clear that Walt was his insurance policy if things ever went sideways. Walt is Jesse's get out of jail free card. If he ever wants out or wants to punish Walt, all he has to do is go to Hank (wouldn't that be great scene) or someone else in the DEA and say, "You want Heisenberg? I can give him to you."

What is the actual likelihood of walt putting up a tony montana machine gun showdown? The show is great with misdirection (see pink teddy) so who knows what purpose that weapons is really for?

This probably has been brought up before but the more I think about it the more I feel like Breaking Bad (these past 2 seasons especially) is so similar to Gran Theft Auto (Vice City in particular) in terms of great characters and a little bit of the story.

but it would be a disappointment, if walt gets through with everything and jesse never finds out the truth..

If Walter kills Jesse or Hank, I will pray for his death. Salamanca style.

This series has done a great job at being unpredictable. But after four seasons of building up to Walt vs. Jesse and Walt vs. Hank, I don't see Gilligan and co. abandoning those payoffs because they are predictable storylines. These face offs are the entire point right now. They are the only logical climax at this point in the story, the only things that can live up to and top previous seasons.

After all, the fate of Gus was not unpredictable, how it happened was unpredictable. That's where the real surprise occurred and it was awesome. I'm sure there will be some amazing twists/developments as we get to the inevitable Hank/Jesse vs. Walt showdowns. It's not the situation that has to be unpredictable, but the realization of that situation.

The whole time jesse was yelling magnets did anyone else keep thinking to this:

I most definitely was thinking that. While Jesse does have awesome taste in music I hope he isn't a juggalo. I used to be one and still listen to a small amount of the stuff but just BLEH no

Haha I had no idea there were so many walt jr. breakfast memes
