Breaking Bad - Part 2

Chris was getting his **** together man, he had a kid and a wife he got bad after what happened to Adrianna but he came out of it and was starting to get better but Tony is just an utter pos.

as far as I remember, christopher begged tony to take him out of the car, because he would not pass any drug test, he took some drugs and alcohol before the car ride and would lose his license and probably get in trouble with the police and that's why tony had enough. that was not the first time christopher failed to ge straight, and tony gave him couple chances. he always looked good for a certain period but never fully recovered and with a family now, and tony looking back and seeing the child seat in the back of the car, he realized that christopher could have killed his own kid and decided that it would be in the best interest of all to kill him....i dont think itwas easy for him...

He's like Walt, there's just no redemption for somebody after you see them kill so many people, innocence of guit has nothing to do with it at all. Murder is wrong but I would say Walt was more justified in his situation than Tony was

i dont see any differences in both situation...that was something that needed to happen

Well, I'm glad I don't know you personally then. People make mistakes and what Jane was doing was outright hostile and aggressive. Christopher was just a **** up. Totally different people and circumstances. Who was there to help Tony clean up the mess that was Ralphie?? Who did Tony ALWAYS go to and could trust for almost ANYTHING, Christopher. He was high, big ****ing whoop man he showed up to Ralphie's house zooted outta his mind and still got the job done. I don't remember the specifics of the time around his death but I do remember Tony just grabbing his nose and mouth and smothering him. Those situations are totally different. Jesse has done some messed up stuff just like Christopher but he isn't "evil" Tony and Walt are evil and I may go so far as to say Jane was evil but that's just because she was a money hungry female like most of them. Christopher didn't deserve it man, not at all. He may have been a pos just as much as Tony but he was Tony's right hand the entire show and the ONLY person (besides maybe Sylvio) Tony could trust 100%

@ Ekylpze
you shouldnt take things personally.

of course christopher was a nice guy and i enjoyed him during the show. i wished him the best to overcome his shadows, and i expected him to kill tony in the end of the show...

but we're talking about tony who got more and more cruel during the show. in his eyes christopher became a liability that could let to his own downfall. that's cruel given the fact that christopher helped him during a lot difficult situations and kept his mouth shut...

i wasnt suprsied that he killed him, were you shocked by tony ? he got more cruel and ruthless during the show...and considering this, i was not shocked seeing him doing such a thing..

and that's why i compare both situations with each other, both main characters of a show got more and more cruel and ruthless during the show..they only have eyes for their own goals..and that cost them a lot of sympathy..we enjoyed walter and tony a lot but they changed that's because vince gilligan and david chase wanted to turn a character from good to bad and let the viewers decide whether they still be able to feel with the character or just wish them/him death...

Nah, I think Christopher deserved to die. Tony made the right call. When you're in a criminal empire like Chris, and strung out on drugs, and everybody around has told you NOT to do the stuff again, and you admit to your boss that you're still on the stuff, that boss is not going to risk you going to jail and most likely snitching. Tony did look around and saw that Chris could have killed his whole family were they in the car instead.

Walt also made the right call in letting Jane die. She basically knew everything and would, in my opinion, eventually snitch when all that money ran out. Or she and Jesse would have more likely died with that money. Walt saved Jesse and himself. From death. From going to jail.

I'm not taking things personally man. I just think of it differently. I never really noticed Tony getting more cruel over the course of the series he just always was. And yea I was surprised by Tony's actions. I did not expect Christopher to be killed AT ALL. Like I said, for me he was the heart of the show. I literally lost all interest in the show after he died. It's actualt quite interesting because that is the only time that has ever happened to me while watching a show and I've watched many and yea Sopranos is like the only one that just seemed totally ruined to me by it's last season. Buffy wasn't even that much of a disappointment

Christopher would have never snitched on Tony. NEVER. As I've stated Tony was not just in what he did, he left that kid without a dad because his own nephew who was more of a son to him than his own son was just a career **** up? Nah man, that is totally different than when Walt DIDN'T SAVE Jane. Walt didn't outright murder Jane, he was ready to leave Jesse to his own devices and as soon as he thought to not help her he just stood there. Jane was too much of a wild card in Walt's world, Christopher was a wild card but nowhere near the extent of Jane. Christopher knew how things were done and what to do and stepped up to the plate numerous times and he also happened to fail numerous times but he wasn't beyond redemption in my eyes the way Jane was. Jane was ready to tell EVERYONE about Walt if she didn't get her way. Totally different guys

you made some valid points, but you gotta see this through tony's eyes. tony only saw another fail attempt by christopher getting clean, another person who could lead to his downfall. there was a time, in which tony was concerned that christopher could be the snitch or somebody who could work with the police. he stepped up couple times but still he was a liability in the eyes of tony. and that's something you can not have in the mob business. if you show weakness, you're done.

of course jane and christopher had different paths, but i'm talking about the bigger picture in both cases, not who was more worth or not.

I feel ya. My entire point in the beginning was just that if Jesse does die it'll probably ruin the show for me. I guess i just identify with addict characters.

on this point we agree. jesse getting killed would really be a massiv blow for me too. I really want him to hunt down walt or in some way get revenge...

I don't even know if it's necessarily revenge I want to see but seeing Jesse die will just kill me. It'll turn me into the guy that talks about Breaking Bad being "until the last season" cuz that's exactly how I am with Sopranos lol

I think by the end of this first part of the season, Jesse will be dead. Just have a feeling.

My money is on Skyler or Walt Jr by accident. I can totally see Walt poisoning Walt Jr on accident

Oh god! I hope I'm far off! I can see that happening so freaking perfectly in my head. I hope it doesn't happen SO BAD! Lol it just seems to east or predictable.

I seriously think the ricin is gonna pop back up in a BIG way. Maybe Walt tries to poison Hank when he starts to get too close and accidentally poisoning Marie. Something is bound to happen with that damn ricin.

The fact that Walt chose to hide the ricin instead of disposing of it altogether, coupled with Skylar's smoking, does not bode well at all. The accidental poisoning thing could definitely happen, it seems in keeping with the thrust of the show.

That's what I'm saying. It's too perfect though so that's why I'm thinking somebody else might get it. I can totally see Walt Jr picking up his mom's pack of smokes just to see what cigarette's are like or whatever. I'm kinda hoping it isn't the case but then again almost everybody called Yule being the one to steal it from Jesse so.....

i know that but can you guarantee that skyler wont smoke it if she finds it ? i dont think it's clearly to see that it's a fake cigarette..but you right the purpose was something else..

Yes, I think it is easy to see that something is in the cigarette. But even if someone tried to smoke it, the vile filled the cigarette casing so it would not be possible to draw air through it.

But let's say it was possible to light and smoke normally, it's a glass vile so I don't think the heat of the ember would be enough to melt it and expose the ricin.

When they tried to use it on Tuco they just put it in his food and when Jesse thought Brock had been poisoned by it, did you think he believed Brock smoked the cigarette?

I think sometime after Walt's cover is blown, Walt Jr will find the vile and take it thinking it's the drug his dad was making.

no, i assumed that someone poisoned brock or accidently jesse really lost it and brock got somehow and in some way he got the ricin in his system...but no smoking..

We don't know that it's a glass vile. It could just as well be plastic

True, and we don't know that burning the ricin and inhaling the smoke would have the same fatal affects. That's my point here, too many ifs, buts and maybes for it to be Walt's plan for someone to smoke the ricin cigarette.

It was just a way to store the poison, specifically a way for Jesse to store it as he was the one who was supposed to use it on Gus. Now that Walt has it again, it's not even in the cigarette and I don't think we'll ever see it inside a cigarette again.

Walt knows whether or not smoking it would kill somebody. Plus, all he'd have to do is pour the ricin into a cigarette. Everything you're bringing up has a very simple way to explain it.
