I'm watching Vince Gilligan on The Colbert Report right now - the rerun of the episode from a couple hours ago - and it is good. My favorite part: Colbert asked if there really was blue meth, and Gilligan's answer, after a moment of hesitation: "There is now." It's a very rare two-panel interview, which is even better.

I actually just started watching The Shield and finished the 1st season. S**t got real in the last two episodes. It was crazy!

Have fun man, cuz that is the way the whole damn show feels. It get SOOO INTENSE it's ridiculous

Just finished Homeland season one after starting it on Monday night.
Excellent pilot and terrific performances but kinda fizzle out at the end, it didn't finish strong. It was more resetting the series for the new season whereas Breaking Bad's second half built up to a satisfying climax.

What likely happened is Downton Abbey, Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones nabbed 30% of the vote, Mad Men and Breaking Bad spilt voters and third choice Homeland won.

It is a great show and I recommend it, keeps you guessing and there lots of twists. Still I would rank Breaking Bad S4 as the best of the year followed by Mad Men and then Homeland.

I thought meth, regardless of the cooking process, was always clear and that the props department on Breaking Bad added the blue color just so Walt and Jesse's would be visually distinctive.

Well most meth around here is pink and its the cheap stuff. I've heard of all different colors though. Mainly after BB. Never touch the crap myself but Polk county where I grew up has one of the worst problems in FL.
