Chapter 10: "Truth and Consequences" discussion thread 11/26

So basically...she's going public when that's the last thing Noah would have wanted?

Noah didn't want her to flaunt her powers because he knew The Company would be able to find her. Now that pretty much doesn't matter since The Company knows she's out there and Bob has said he isn't after her anymore.

She's taking it public to show people OUTSIDE of The Company that they are treating people like her, like little lab rats in hopes of people OUTSIDE The Company to expose it and take it down.

and it will bite her on the ass.

Well, we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm just trying to clear up for people what Claire more then likely meant in the talk with Elle.

So I'm wondering, would there possibly be a chance (if the strike ends) for a mini-season in the summer or something or is that a no-no for the big shows like Heroes?

you can watch or download HD avi commercial of next week's last episode of the year "Powerless" here

I don't like the way Claire has been written this season, she behaved like a stupid, irresponsible teen for the most part. She was willing to choose West over her own family, despite everything that happened last season, it seems she didn't learn her lessons well, just mediocre writing. Her move against Elle was not smart, but is understandable due to the cirscumstances, she feels guilty and she has a rage against herself, so emotions are very high.

So...who do you think is going to die?

I'm going with Maya and Niki. I'd almost be tempted to say Adam, but even if he did die...he wouldn't stay dead. Unless he lost his head somehow.

:o Maybe your the one watching the wrong show. If you dont like this kind of show then dont watch it.
Maybe you should uh, you know, you should have some superhero fights, in your superhero show? Anyone hear me? Hello?

Niki and/or Molly and/or Maya.

I feel like Claire's been written like a teenage girl. Go figure.

in the last preview it showed her busting down a door.

I believe that happened in the seventh episode this season.

Anyway, mediocre episode. Really feel it could be better if they had more time to develop the story. (Unions suck:o ) I hope next season focuses on the original 12 and how everybody is connected like somebody on here suggested. I can't believe there is only one more episode! :cmad:

More than likely it's going to be Molly and either Nikki or Maya that die. Molly for sure, and probably Nikki or Maya. My guess would be Nikki.

I'm surprised that those gang bangers didn't try to rape Monica. I would have thought that would be the first thing they would do.

Peter and Hiro will be over in about 2 seconds next week if they battle. Peter will man handle Hiro with no problems. Hiro has to concentrate to use his time stop skills, and Peter will just blast him real quick, and end of battle.

I think some of the 12 may not have had abilities, or if they did have them, they were not offensive capabilities. Many of the powers are not the kind that can be used in a combat situation. They are more subtle.

They kept talking about his head so i think Hiro's gonna have to behead him. Which could be awesome.

According to E! online's Kristen, a female Hero, who hasn't been well received this season, will be shot by Sylar, but resurrected by Mohinder.

That could be Nikki or Molly, and my guess is the latter. Combine that with the NBC press release saying Maya will realize Sylar's carnage first hand, and it makes sense.

But I think both will die.

how did adam and peter know where victoria pratt was? did i miss something?

I predict Niki and Maya are goners as an act of redemtion for each

Niki has spent the entire last 2 seasons killing and getting other people killed. She speaks negatively of trying to be a hero...I say she goes out as a hero.

Maya for similar reasons. She killed a whole wedding party and indirectly got her brother killed by pushing him away when he was the only one who still had her back. I predict she'll get redemption by going out by making up for all the death she caused by saving the world through her own death.

and it will bite her on the ass.

Now if we only had characters on the show always making the right or correct decisions, we wouldn't have much of a show now would we?

As for who is gonna bite it next episode, it's for sure probably gonna be my favorite character Niki (:csad: ) and probably either Sylar or Nathan.

That's what I was thinking as well. I don't see Niki or Maya hanging around for long.

i would like to see her power further explained before she dies though.

delayed reaction?

of course it makes things entertaining, but it doesn't make her any less reckless.

Matt's storyline has simultaneously been the best and worst storyline. So much **** left unexplained...it's ridiculous.

Apparently, according to spoiler sites, the virus isn't really what they thought it was. It sorta leads me to believing that it's actually Maya's virus that's the apocalyptic one.

Since Sylar is apparently "resurrected," maybe he offs her and takes her power? Otherwise she's still alive.
