Chapter 11: "Powerless" discussion thread 12/03

Why is that? There is no reason established in the canon to the best of my knowledge.
Due to the fact that he can manipulate time as well, i guess. He didn't freeze when Future Hiro came to him on the train.

maybe he can't. I mean he has the ability.

Then they should establish that you can't use your powers on someone with a similar power instead of just creating plot holes.

So far so good. I love it when ever we see Elle use her power, with Peter its just not as exciting.

i love how peter is just completely okay with him slcing people up

That is because Hiro left him unfrozen in order to give him the "Save the cheerleader, save the world" message.

I still want to know how they know. Who did they test the theory on? How can they be so confidant? I'm starting to think Papa Petrelli was a healer and Adam's lab rat.

from experience. the source of the powers is the brain. destroy the brain, destroy the power.

Ok, when Monica messed up and got caught, it was night. How come its day when Micah tells his mom about Monica?

Still, they all seem a bit too confident with the fate of the world laying in the hands. I mean, with the world at stake, why treat a theory as a cold hard fact? That leads me to believe there must've been a third healer at some point.

it's not really a plot hole. Peter was the only person able to see Claude when he was invisible.

Hiro is merely unconscience. In reality Adam would've killed him there and then. In case he regains conscientiousness and intervenes, or travels back in time and alters things.......

Gawd! peter so dumb :(

Come to think of it, why didn't Adam kill him?

like I said, they probably know from experience. We as the viewer know that based on what happened to Claire early in season 1, and Peter in his confrontation with Sylar. Why wouldn't they know, given that they've been keeping track of abilities for decades and using some of the powered people as guinea pigs?
