Chapter 11: "Powerless" discussion thread 12/03

not really, the timeline would exist but there will be no virus breakout in the future, so she could still be there.

She doesn't have any time travelling powers or isn't in contact with a time traveller, so when the timeline is altered, she would be altered with it, and since she isn't in the present anymore to lead into being a part of that future, there is no future version of her for her to be altered into, so she fades from existence.

You what would have been cool if the new gen called their own group...

The Outfit

Nathan as the leader
Matt
Peter
Molly
Claude
HRG
Claire
Hiro and Ando
and West

Taking on Adam and the Company:o

Ando and HRG don't have powers, so why would they be in it? West sucks and really no one knows who he is...so he is out. As for Molly, a bit young, isn't she?

Wow that blows:csad:

Peter was right next to him.

Yes, but if Peter can travel through time...he could have come back and shot Nathan. HRG wouldn't have come back to the company if there wasn't some dreadful consequence about going public, and while he still could have been the shooter, it's entirely possible that Peter somehow goes back in time to correct whatever went wrong with going public by shooting Nathan.

Or it could have been anybody else...just guessing at this point. Dramatically, having Peter come back and do it is better than HRG being the obvious suspect.

With his brain damage? I think he's the most totally dead guy you have on show...they resurrected many lives, such as maya and hrg, but the brain seems to be the fatality of every hero (their absolute power, yet the only way to kill it (adam with the bullet in the head))

So no to Linderman theory...and who's Uhura? The haitian?
Kring said that Linderman is dead. finished. kaput. that was his plan.

Yeah..Wtf? They're so huge..It's scary.:o
I only keep posting them because they keep telling me to out of hte side of the screen...they're like evil voices inside my head. I mean just look at this one: :abom: It's like its on crack or something! Get away, Get away foul demon!!!! Don't kill me!!! :csad:

If Nathan does stay dead, then it better be for something good like uniting the Petrelli family, what's left of it,to bust heads open and take this damn company down

or have Peter lose it,develop a God complex like Adam and go bad

or she continues existing in a timeline where Peter didn't stop the virus.,

So you have to have powers to join a group of Heroes.

Batman and Robin don't doesn't stop them...plus Hiro needs his sidekick and HRG has inside knowledge of the Company.

Molly is a tracker most useful for hunting down rogues like Adam or Sylar.

I'm gonna predict a ridiculous theory and say that Nathan's shooter was Arthur Petrelli.

Just in case I'm somehow right.

I think it was to shut him up
That's what it seemed like.

Only, as soon as he suggested a press conference I thought 'Who the hell is going to listen to Nathan Petrelli?' The dude ran for congress, then bailed after a horrific accident that left him maimed and his brother missing presumed dead, then miraculously recovers (never mind that the same thing coincidently happened with his wife), then turns into a drunken bumb whose probably got a restraining order out against him from his wife (thanks Angela), now his brother is apparently alive.

Seriously, who is going to listen to this nutcase? There's no reason to shoot him.

I believe Matt was going to make the people believe him:o

Or ya know, Nathan could just fly around a little bit

Every person watching the 5 o clock news?

Point. I guess I just think it would be a better idea to hire some suits to rush in, inject him with drugs and throw him in a strait jacket, and whisk him to an institution - er, I mean, The Company. Shooting him makes him credible. Locking him in a mental institution makes him sound like a raving lunatic. And given his recent past, it would be believable.

it can exist as an alternate timeline is my point.

But none of these characters have the power to travel to different dimensions, and seriously, the time travel plot points are enough of a headache that we don't need to get into X-book/Multiverse levels of time travel/dimension hopping in this show.

Can Peter's blood heal people now though? He's been around Claire and Adam.

But for a council made, to essentially govern these special individuals, it doesn't really fit to have normal people on it or a child.

I'm aware its fact. My question is how do they know? Why are they so confident. In other words, who is the test dummy healer that they tried it on?
they didn't have to test it on anyone.
