i wonder why he was to save Matt now. Isn't he with Peter and Mohinder? He should be safe with those two.



Im thinking its not Matt he has to save but Janice's baby. Remember when she and Matt split she was pregnant. In 5 Years Gone, HRG was hiding her and the kid and im pretty sure his name was Matt too. Also I remember hearing we would see what happens when you have a super baby this volume. Janice could still be living in L.A. with the kid, and thats exactly where Rebel is sending Hiro and Ando

i like the dynamic between sylar and luke. Now i haven't seen any of volume three, but didn't the creators try to make sylar a hero but wound up having him revert back? well, if such is the case, look at the way this kid practically idolizes syalr, i think it might be the creators way of making sylar a hero, in twisted way, he's lukes hero. And is it just me or luke tryin to play head games with sylar?

Yes, Luke obviously knows how to play Sylar but he isn't doing it quite like Mama Petrelli did. Luke just wants to tag along, he doesn't want anything else from Sylar than being around him. But he did give up his dad's address when he realised how much it meant to Sylar so I think we should cut him some slack for the head game.

Anyway, I love Luke. I think he's a bright kid, he quickly figured out how to get to Sylar. The story about birds was kinda corny in the beginning but I really liked where it led. "Maybe i reminded him of you". Awwwww.

And he has a very dorky power that I think fits him perfectly. Too bad we've had so many people with hand-powers by now. It'd be more interesting if he can radiate microwaves out of his whole body a-la the radioactive man from 1st season. Anyway, I'm not surprised Sylar took a liking to him because if you think about it Sylar can feel attachement. He got attached to Mama Petrelli, Peter and even Elle. The problem is that his evilness always wins out in the end. So I'm curious to see if that will be the case with Luke.

I know it's too early to tell right now, but I kind of think Luke is going to betray Sylar. He idolizes Sylar at the moment...but I think the more experienced he gets at being evil, he may end up thinking he doesn't need Sylar anymore...kind of like a Sith sort of thing where the apprentice feels he's outgrown his master.

I really don't get that from Luke now. I mean he willingly placed himself in danger by giving Sylar what he was after. He may at some point realise that it's very dangerous to be around Sylar on principle alone and betray him to save his own life but I don't get the feeling that Luke is some power hungry leech. Sylar is so much more powerful and even if Luke wanted he couldn't have all that power for himself.

Just saw the ep, while watching it I kept for some reason getting the feeling Luke Campbell gonna turn out to be Sylar's (step) brother, wierd I know...also Claire is doing my head it, doesn't she see her father doing it all for her!! bad ass ending also

I laughed when that Alex dude said his power was breathing underwater, I mean it is not an amazing power but it is pretty cool and I wonder if we can see this minor power turn into something that will help down the road.

That's the point. Or at least part of it...

Also, if you think about it. He could breathe underwater for too long and people get suspicious and then they find out that he's special and then the general public gets out of hand and panics.

Also also, the Hunter would probably say that he could easily drown people which is dangerous.

I don't understand why they had him working as a comic book clerk. If he had that power and was say a lifeguard, maybe I could believe this "easily drowns people"

Even if his job is to save them but whatever. If he was at least near water and dealing with people, I could believe somebody at some point might die cause of him.

But he was nowhere near freaking water! He was a comic book geek, the farthest thing from dangerous there is. Surely they could've saved their resources.

These people don't have a message tattooed on their forehead about what powers they have. Yet.

What is that supposed to mean? Nathan has a list of people that are special but has no idea what they actually do?

What I think they are trying to show is that this is being taken to the extreme. It's not a matter of if they are dangerous. It's the fact that they have theses abilities period. Now don't take this wrong it is just an example. But it's like 9-11, after that people were attacking and harming anyone who looked Arab or Afghani just on the basis that those were the people who attacked the twin towers. Many good people are being punished or abused based on the assumption that they are like the few who bad people out there. Again just an example I dont need people saying that I am saying a tv show is like 9-11. Many other examples can be used as well.

Many heroes doesnt have very "dangerous" powers. Yes he could drown somebody, but if he really wanted to kill somebody it would be easier to just shoot them.

Well, he could certainly get to places where normal people probably couldn't, allowing him to possibly sabotage stuff or sneak into places more easily. Yeah, I know the same could be said of a scuba diver but if you think about it, aside from the Sylars, regenerators and mind readers, nobody's power is that much more dangerous than anything else most people can get their hands on. Take Tracy Strauss as an example. Sure, she can freeze people to death. But the average gangbanger could just as easily kill someone with a gun.

I wonder if Alex can do what she did as far as not having to breathe at all, making her able to survive poisonous gasses and stuff like that
or can he just breathe in the water?
