Exactly, there wasn't one until 2 episodes later. So calm the f*** down and just watch the damn show.

Different scenario. Last year was the first season. Whole different ball game. Different dynamics, different style of writing required, and it comes with the territory that more build up is needed. Plus there was the mystery driving it. This season has no excuses like that. You have several already established characters who can be used in better ways then sitting in a pub or playing high school pranks.

no one is gushing. yeah, this season hasn't been that exciting thus far. that doesn't mean it'll suck. that doesn't mean we won't see interesting developments. it doesn't mean the boring/annoying characters won't serve a purpose.

one difference is that this volume isnt an entire season long. this season is being split up into multiple volumes. therefore, your "pay-off" should occur sooner.

Who says every Volume has to have a "pay-off?" (Especially since they're going to be shorter.)

Perhaps "Generations" is just a transition into Volume 3 where you WILL get your "pay-off."

I'm not so impatient that I need explosions every week or something ridiculous like that to be entertained. Would be nice if they showed more original 12 though, but I can wait. I'm patient.

When you have any show with teens, you're going to have to deal with angst, romance, rebellions, childish pranks, etc. That's the way it is. If you don't like it, fine. You don't have to. But don't write off everything because things aren't going the way you'd like them to go.

I've watched maybe 2 episodes of that garbage in my life. Again, I am not asking for explosions every episode. So please, stop putting words in my mouth. I am asking for...and I know this is a lot. Interesting story lines and some kind of pay off for watching over the past 6 episodes.
