I'm actually surprised that they let Chris Hemworth leave the set.

It's in his contract that every time they make a Thor movie he gets to leave the set for one hour

saw the mtv link, nice to hear from chris about the costume, and the hammer and all the talk about how to pronounce the name of the hammer. also nice to know for sure he is indeed wearing a long blonde wig for the film. also it looks like he is sporting a beard to for the role. For how much of the film he has a beard hard to tell. Maybe he will have beard for part and no beard for another part.

Yeah, I meant to mention that I was pleased about the wig confirmation. I mean, I know most of us suspected that he'd be wearing a wig and all, but there were some posters on here convinced that Marvel were going with a short haired God of Thunder.

Which is, I'm sure you'll agree, unthinkable.

Hey Guys Check this out. Its an interview from the director of the Movie Cash which Chris Hemsworth stars in. He gives a lil tidbit of how it was like working with Chris. I just found it interesting maybe you guys will too:

SR: With a seasoned veteran like Bean and a new guy like Hemsworth working together, was there a lot of Sean helping Chris or was he able to walk on set and hold his own?

SMA: I’ll tell you something interesting about that. Chris is a young man and is no were near as accomplished as Sean Bean just strictly from the number of years they’ve been on the planet. However, Chris was an accomplished actor, he has a lot of experience in television, I don’t think he had done any film. What he did do, when he started working with Sean, I watched him pay strict attention during the course of the shoot and watched Chris Hemsworth learn an amazing amount of stuff from Sean Bean. I’m very impressed with that young man.

I love Sean Bean enough to watch stuff solely for him, so if Hemsworth learned a lot from him, it can only be a good thing.

yea he is in great shape i see nothing wrong with chris's shape now. also being the 3/4 done comment they started production in jan. most of these films shot for 4-5 months. Then rest of time for post production, reshoots, and all the promoting stuff. So they will probably be done at the end of april or early may at the latest. As for seeing anything with ironman 2. it will probably just be a minor teaser with just titles i would figure and/or maybe some audio clip. But i serious doubt we would see any actual film footage. That is probably going to be held off to comic con, and then what ever is shown at comic con will probably become footage seen in first full trailer we will probably see around sept/oct i would figure. Then i agree we will probably see some first official photos released from usa today/ew/etc.... mags probably in may.

I'm glad he has a beard, and it's an attractive beard. The fact that they died his eyebrows and his bread makes me LOL, but it's just perfect. I want to see that wig.

Actually I think 4-5 months is quite a bit longer than usual. Both Iron Man films did it in about 2 & 1/2 months. Thor looks to be going for a 3 to 3 & 1/2 shooting length. And I will be literally stunned silent if ANY kind of Thor teaser shows up in front of IM2. Right now I just don't see it happening. I can only think of 2 instances when a superhero/comicbook movie did something like that: TDK and AngHulk. And that made sense for them, everyone knows Batman & the Hulk among the general public. Thor is another story. It'd be pretty much for the fans only.
