There should be some sort of secondary user title that goes under the "Banned User" notice so we know what someone did. It'll stop us from bothering the mods every time someone gets pro-banned or perma-banned (ie. "What did they do?"). Tack a brief explanation of what each "banned title" means in the SHH FAQ thread (or just create a new sticky thread right next to it), and we'll know not to do that sort of thing ourselves.

Why is it anyone's business except the mods and the person perma-banned?

If you are close friends with the person, then I'm sure you have an email or an IM to speak with them and find out.....

If not, then there is really no reason for you to know.

We don't make up rules to perma ban someone, they are in the FAQ's and there is usually a long history, that is really all anyone is entitled to know.

I have to say that Manic's idea would be funny though. I could probably spend hours just reading those "Hype epitaphs". "Posted Porn", "Was a Troll", "General *****ebaggery", etc.

I know it's none of our business but I got a giggle out of that idea.
