[Double Down]

I don't like how it now thanks us for doing a Quick Reply, it defeats the purpose of a Quick Reply when it takes you on to a new page. Has this been mentioned?

Sometimes it does that for me, sometimes it doesn't. It all depends on how fast the site is working. At slower times, it will reload the whole page.

I see no point in dividing the Hype any further, unless there was a need for it. I certainly do not see a point in merging subforums either. Just because Community (presumably your favorite meeting place here on the Hype!, since you've taken issue) isn't as popular as it once was doesn't mean that every subforum should be merged back into Community for the sake of popularity. This site is not that hard to navigate. It's more orderly and not a jumbled mess. And that's a good thing. There are many other forums and sites out there for you to visit if you prefer jumbled messes. I, for one, appreciate not having to navigate my way through 10 pages of stuff I'm not interested in to find the five threads that I AM interested in.

I didn't exactly mean that Community should be merged back. I was just trying to prove my point that dividing Community has both a positive and negative side to it. While, obviously, its more orderly now with the sub-forums that already exist, there still exists a small negative in the form of decreased traffic. However, my point wasn't so much that that was a problem, rather that if we continue to create sub-forums, it will be. That said, it's insulting that you're belittling both how the Hype used to be, and the fact that I (and many others) enjoyed it that way.

Suffice it to say, I'm okay with the Hype as it is now.

If you want to say that I am belittling the 'Hype of old', then so be it. (Even though that's not what I was doing.) All I was doing was saying how much I appreciate the fact that this site isn't a jumbled mess like other sites. Drawing a distinction is alot different than criticizing.

That's thoroughly untrue. I didn't dismiss you, I said, having actually been here, that I know more about what it was like 4 years ago than you do. That's not trying to be demeaning or insulting in anyway, it's just the truth. It's like, our parents know what the 70s were like better than we do because they were actually there, but that doesn't mean they're insulting us. It's just how it is.

Truthfully, to me it seems as though you somehow took offense to my original post, and ever since have been trying to defend yourself and the present state of the Hype to me. But there's no need to. I wasn't condemning you or the Hype as it is. I was making an observation. And again, it wasn't even an opinion.

Watchmen, I'm not too sure of the color scheme you'd wanna use, but I'm sure yellow and black would be involed

i think anything more than 10 would be completely unnecessary but an increase would be kinda cool.
