there is more than one hole and because i work with foods and whatnot, i have to keep the stitches (and the holes) covered up. plus the areas are really sensitive to air so it was windy outside today when i went to get my prescription and it hurt so bad

i can't wash my hair til friday and i can't really style it very well cuz i keep hitting the stitches trying to brush or comb my hair and it starts bleeding

i'll just have a bohemian look for a few days lol

yeah, but it's mostly turbans and african hair wraps, which let's face it, i can't pull off. apparently that one is called a victorian wrap but even google isn't helpful

i had some cysts removed off the top of my head, they had to cut some scalp off and a bit more to get to the largest one out so i have two holes on my head and stitches to boot. one is on the right side of my head on the curve right above my ear and the other is pretty much dead center on the top of my head. when i bend down or lean forward, it's kinda hard to miss with the way my hair naturally parts down the middle.

when i go in two weeks to have my stitches out, they'll be cutting out at least one more :/

It's true. While he was in the ICU for two months, he had incredible nurses. And now that he's on a less intensive rehab floor, there's still a handful of great people. But the bad way outweighs the good. And they're diven by their "patient quota", so he gets ignored because they want to keep him there to make their money when he's so much stronger than anyone else on the floor. He needs to be put back on the intensive rehabilitation floor because, at this rate, he'll wind up in a nursing home despite his incredible improvements. It's a mess.

Or that the patient deserves. His requirements were neglected and we were lied to by a nurse in regards to my father having received his therapy that day. It was complete ******** and inexcusable.

I confess that whenever I see a father with his child (age doesn't usually matter, but age under a teen triggers it more), a few thoughts cross my mind. Because my father couldn't be around while I was growing up, I get envious and angry. I also feel scared. I have the uncertainty of even wanting to have kids out of fear of not knowing how to be a father. I wasn't exactly exposed to the typical family growing up. Don't get me wrong. My father didn't abandon me. There were just certain circumstances.

I apologize for being all dramatic. It just kinda became relevant at the moment.
