Powers:trength Level: Adam Warlock possessed superhuman strength which he could increase even further by enhancing it with cosmic energy. Un-enhanced, Warlock could lift (press) about 4 tons; enhanced, he could achieve ten times that level of strength for brief periods of time (less than one hour), as when he battled Thor.

Known Superhuman Powers: Adam Warlock possessed a number of superhuman properties and powers derived from his artificially determined genetic structure. His bone and muscle tissue was denser than human, endowing him with superhuman strength and resilience. Among his body's special adaptations was an enclave of cells able to tap and transform cosmic energy for personal use. Warlock could use this energy to enhance his physical strength, endurance, and powers of recuperation. He could also employ cosmic energy to negate the force of gravity beneath him, enabling him to fly. In an Earthlike atmosphere, Warlock was able to attain the speed of sound (770 miles per hour). He could use his cosmic energy to locate and enter natural space-warps (discontinuities in the fabric of space) in order to traverse interstellar space. He could also project cosmic energy from his hands as concussive force. The potency of these blasts remains unknown. Warlock's energy manipulating powers waned at the time he was given the soul-gem by the High Evolutionary.
Adam Warlock was able to spin a cocoon like object around him at will in a matter of seconds. He did so infrequently during his short life, usually to protect himself from mortal harm, and usually he would emerge from the cocoon at a further level of physical or mental maturity. It is not known where the substance of the cocoon came from, or where it went after he emerged from it.

I removed the information that would pertain to him having the soul Gem. He will still be a great character but just less powerful.

If it's a majority vote to add them automatically put them in potentials (ie Captain Universe). It's the same if you decide to drop or not add someone (ie. Dr Strange), just move them over to drop.

If you're keeping Silver Surfer all the other Heralds should be kept since he is the most powerful.

Also, if you're allowing Sersi to stay, you should keep Ikaris and Gilgamesh in (as well as the other Eternals). Especially if you're keeping the Surfer, who's got waaaaay more potential and power at his command.

Yeah. I think one of the things that JH, Powder and I are on a similiar page on what we're looking for. We want to get a little bit of a feel like we had the first season. We want characters we all know and love, like Spider-Man (Classic, of course) and Daredevil, we want some of the new characters to have a chance to be in this, like Arana and Gravity, and we want those surprise characters that not everyone will know and might actually surprise everyone how tough they are, like Ikaris and Gilgamesh last season. But, to get the new characters that we can learn more about, we have to get rid of the old characters that did that before. I think that's how we feel about Ikaris and Gilgamesh.

If there are characters that we feel either on the fence about, or someone feels strongly about them being in next season, we can move them to a vote in the potentials section. That's what I did with Falcon & Redwing. I didn't want to just elimate him yet...so, I decided to leave it up to everyone to choose. So, if you really like Ikaris and Gilgamesh, we can move them there.

On The Fence:

Dr. Strange - I'm sure we'll just drop him.
Adam Warlock - This is a tough one. I've pretty much always known him with the gem. And, to try and decide how to vote by adjusting information about him in bios to without it would be too difficult, in my opinion. To me, Adam Warlock could beat Dr. Strange. But, if we don't have Dr. Strange, should we then eliminate Warlock?

Next Section...I love the Exiles. I just finished reading up to issue 50 last night, this has been one of my favorite series ever...so I vote to keep all of them because they all can be pretty good characters.....

Well, like I said, we'll definitely put them in the potential list. And, we'll let JH weigh in on the discussion too, when he has time. (I hope you're keeping track of all this, Powder. ) For the record, we haven't finished determining the outcome of the Cosmic section...we still have to hear from JH concerning Dr. Strange and Adam Warlock. But, I agree it's time to visit the Exiles.

I'll agree with what POWdER and Phaed was saying, but I can see your concern as to why you don't like that system. As Phaed said, if you see someone dropped that you still want in it, make a case for them and we can move them to potentials where we can all discuss adding them back at the end. Right now we're keeping it kinda open so in the end we'll know how many openings we'll have for new characters. I did bring up the new Eternals story coming up (I think I even voted for Ikaris to be included, though I don't remember), but we're doing a majority rules thing and it was 2 against 3. You can give your votes on whatever curent section that we're working on though. I'd love to get your imput.

While I absolutely LOVE the Exiles as well, I think having these character along with their 616 counter parts may be a little redundant. Most we can overlook, but there's a few I'd prefur it to be one or the other. I'll list my votes:

No. As for raw, physical power Morg has the advantage in the beginning, but Surfer can always increase his strength to extreme levels.
Morg has never shown to be able to manipulate matter and energy like the Surfer can.
The only reason Morg beat the combined Heralds like he did in the Herald's Ordeal arc was because his powers were amped up even further thanks to his dip in the Waters of Life.
When they met again, Surfer beat him down pretty quickly by himself.

I say for right now we move them both to the potentials list and come back to them. We might as well add Baron Mordo since he's being kept out because of possibly keeping Dr. Strange out.

Sabretooth - We already have a Sabretooth (no doubt), and he's not much different than the original.
Sasquatch - We have a Sasquatch in Alpha Flight section. Is she really much different?

Magik (Exiles) - I do want Magik, just want to make sure we pick the best version.

Potential:

Longshot (Exiles) - I say this is the version to have. It's current with what's happening in Exiles.
Power Princess - Again, current with recent events in Exiles.
Spider-Man 2099 - Ditto.

I think Proteus is way too powerful. And, if he couldn't switch bodies, then he wouldn't be Proteus.
