yes.....the 3rd movie could be better than Tdk, it will most likely not be as big a box office hit...but as a movie it could trump Tdk in the hearts of the fanbase.
As batman fans we have witnessed wayne go from the tragedy of his childhood into becoming batman, we have watched him persevere through all the adversity as his city came under siege by a madman....as a batfan would I love a movie where my hero overcomes persecution and redeems himself with the city hes trying to protect.......hell yes...this is the batman movie franchise, im here to see the adventures of batman and as long as the storytelling is as good as its been then im going along for the ride.
Agreed. As I said earlier I'm thinking (hoping) the third film's main theme is redemption. I mean like I said Batman I'm guessing is in a very dark place in his life, Rachel is dead, he's being hunted by the police, the public hates him and I'm guessing he feels some guilt over killing Harvey (assuming he's dead of course). I would really like to see the conflict between Bruce Wayne and Batman (Bruce wanting to stop but Batman knowing this is what he's destined to do) and at the end of the movie Bruce finally excepts his role as Batman. Again assuming redemption is the main theme of the third film, it would make more sense for them to focous mainly on Batman and not so much on the villians.
