And are some still seriously wondering if Singer will be back for Apocalypse? Pretty sure everything we've heard about Fox letting Singer go has been a rumor...one that hasn't been reported anywhere else or on any major entertainment network/website.

Singer has started to tweet again. He sent 2 out today.

With DOFP the success it Is My suspecion has been Inless the suit actully comes to trial and he Is found libel-that Is becoming less likely-That he will be doing
Apocalypse.Money talks In Hollywood.Plus Lauren Shueller Donner may push for him to stay on Inless he is found libel In Civil trial and it remains a question
rather it will ever get to trial.

Tues actuals: $1,242,446 +20% from Monday, -39% from last Tuesday.

Domestic Total: $208,532,557
Overseas Total as of 17/06/14: $461,031,285

Total Worldwide: $669,563,862

Probably already over $670m as of now.

Passes Man of Steel's $668m WW gross too.

Yay!

I'm just happy that this film is doing well. Last year, I wasn't really happy when I read comments that X-Men can't gross over 500 million and the other superheroes like Iron Man, Thor and Captain America has outgrossed all the X-Men films. And during those times, I was like "wait until DOFP is released". Then people didn't really think X-Men will outgross Spider-Man in the U.S.

DOFP looks like should just hit 1m mark

If we still held 1m yesterday that's terrific. These weekday holds have really been saving us.

That would be great. Every weekday that's even close to a million gets a thumbs up from me now on.

Looking at Cap2's weekdays, we'll drop to the 800ks for today.

Let's hope. It we have the same Wed-Thurs drop as last week we'll be around $850k or so today...

Yep. Last week had strong previews for two new big films which this Thursday won't have, and also there was an NBA game last Thursday as well if I'm not wrong. Hope it drops like 10% max.

Can this movie generate $40 million this week, worldwide?

Around the 11th, I think the WW gross was 619, a week later it was 669, using 50% a good guess would be around $30 million

I'm guessing the OS take this week will be around 18 million and the domestic take will be around 10 million, so around 28-30 million. That should bring its total to around 690m hopefully.

So WW 729 with a domestic of $230. Not bad for a studio that gave us the craptacular XTLS and XO:W.

Wednesday Actual: $1,035,371 -16.7% from Tuesday, -39.4% from last Wednesday.

Domestic total: $209,567,948

It's closing in on The Last Stand. It's only 9 million behind The Last Stand in domestic unadjusted in a daily cumulative comparison. Can it catch up and overtake The Last Stand? I think it's possible!

By comparison, ASM2 and Godzilla both lost around 1000 theatres on their fifth weekend. Cap 2 lost at a slower rate thanks to less competition. It was at 3.1k compared to DoFP's 2.6k on its fifth weekend.

Ya, I was comparing ASM2 and Godzilla also. However, it seems theaters are keeping it. Is it because of the competition it went up against?

I think it now has a chance for 230........

Great news.
