I don't see it topping X3 though. 9M may not seem like a big number, but at this stage in it's run, it is. There aren't many movies that have a week of under $15M and then go on to add an additional $24M.

3 hour long films lose at least one screening per night. This means 1 or 2 showings in loss of money.

It doesn't really matter, if the demand is there theaters will just add another showing and take it away from something else if need be. Unless the theater is really small, having only a few screens.

My local theater has 5 showings for DOFP as well, 3 for 3d and 2 for 2d. ASM2 is already gone from the theater, Godzilla has 2 showings in 2d and Maleficent has 5 in 2d.

As for the run time, it's not much longer then DOTM if at all. Shouldn't change a thing. All of them are over 140 min.

It's gonna be superclose to 225 million.

If it can walk away with 216 million through Sunday, and 5 million all next week that gives it weeks to slow climb to 225

It's got a very good shot BUT after this point amazing spiderman 2 only made $10 million more over the next 3 weeks. So if it does even to spiderman that puts it at 221 million finish BUT ASM2 made just over half of what days did at this same point min-Friday

So if that trend continues the movie finishes at 228 or so million
