They got boring. And I know Alex Ross can make some really great covers if he tried.

How the **** not? I mean Alex Ross is great and all, but he's been doing the same boring ass **** for the last 5 years. I've sene you draw the League a hundred times already, I've already seen the JSA black background cover at least 20 times. It's time to do something new. I don't put Ross on a pedestal like most. Great artist, just hasn't done anything original in a while.

It's really not that hard. And I prefer major negative person. Either way, I dont buy books because of their covers, and Jimenez cover sucks sorry.

Y'know, normally I agree phere *****es about the most petty things imaginable, but, that said, Ross' JSA covers did get old about a year and a half ago.

Look at the covers to Justice, World's Greatest Superheroes, stuff like that. All great, kinetic, action-oriented spreads. All great stuff. And then to come back to JSA and draw a character standing? It just isn't what you'd expect from a great artist, it just isn't what you'd expect from Alex Ross.

Personally, I like the JSA Alex Ross covers with the black backgrounds. Simple and focusing on one character. I think I should go track down some older JSA issues to get some similar covers

Looks like a pretty solid month for DC. It's good to see that they'll be following up on what happened between Dick and Barbara with the Nightwing Annual. Hopefully they'll delve into some other things with Nightwing in that issue too. I'll also be checking out that Dr. Fate series when it comes out. And Justice Society sounds like it's going to be bad ass. Definitely a lot to look forward to.
