Shatterstar's hair gets in the way of his face and he can't see the helicopter blades he's about to hit.

Another Shuri, smarter than Stark and Banner together...

Oh what. Would you rather a male character fix the machine?

I would rather to see more logic in this movie.
Cable calls Deadpool being dumb, but he soldier from future who knows how to control machines like that, can't reload time travel swatch, when earlier in movie he fixed his all guns.
Fu... logic, please Colossus say fu.. logic.

What does logic have to do with anything?

The mid credits showed that the point him stealing the device was to time travel back to save Vanessa, save Peter, redo the Origins scene, the Green Lantern script etc. It wouldn't have worked if he just did these things without it.

My brain imploded watching this. I barely smiled but it went over really well in the theatre. Domino was great. I loved her. Some nice choreography as you'd expect. With little investment I quickly sunk into a sinkhole of continuity and logic.

When they all parachute down, Zeitgeist lands in a grinder/woodchipper machine and Peter tries to help him out, but after he explodes, the acid takes off Peter's arm and he dies.

In the post credits scene when Deadpool uses Cable's time travel device, he goes back to that moment and tells Peter to leave Zeitgeist and go home.

Mmm I thought the acid melted his torso.

Yeah, but at least Deadpool 2 knows not to leave hanging threads. By the post-credits they've saved everyone worth saving--Vanessa and Peter!--and left all the others to the woodchippers and helicopter blade.

(Although part of me hopes he still would save Bedlam, heh.)

With IW, we all have to wait a year to have confirmation that the not-really-dead characters aren't really dead.

Regarding the members of X-Force. I gather they want more prolific characters in there, which is fine by me.

I can see a few fans getting a bit miffed at the use of Shatterstar, seeing as he's a bit higher on the pecking order than the others. Zeitgeist was only in one comic right? So figured he'd be toast straight away.

Alright Juggernaut was awesome. Seriously, people thought fans would complain about that last fight? The audience were all about it.

Plus the dude straight out rips Deadpool in half!

That was great, loved where it played in the film.

The Logan intro had me crying from laughter.

That last team shot makes me think so. I was against it for awhile, but now since him and Wade have been developed for two films I hope he is.

I personally hope so. I thought Colossus was excellent in this one and it looks like him and Wade have kind of rubbed off on each other.

He's wasted with those X-Men losers anyway.

That's my problem with what I'm hearing. I get it's Deadpool and supposed to be irreverent but sounds like it's just action scene, pop culture reference, action scene, pop culture reference...

I'm sure I'll be entertained but probably won't think twice of it again after I leave the theater.

It's really, really not. There's more substance & seriousness to this one than the first, if anything.

It's just that the humor's "on a larger scale" if that makes sense, it's a bigger film and there's more going on. But it's not just joke-after-joke ad-nauseum.

I disagree, I liked this second one but I found it a lot more by the numbers than the first one.
But a lot of it comes down to taste.
