When they all parachute down, Zeitgeist lands in a grinder/woodchipper machine and Peter tries to help him out, but after he explodes, the acid takes off Peter's arm and he dies.
In the post credits scene when Deadpool uses Cable's time travel device, he goes back to that moment and tells Peter to leave Zeitgeist and go home.

It's a great scene. Domino makes a Deadpool backpack!
That's my problem with what I'm hearing. I get it's Deadpool and supposed to be irreverent but sounds like it's just action scene, pop culture reference, action scene, pop culture reference...
I'm sure I'll be entertained but probably won't think twice of it again after I leave the theater.
It's really, really not. There's more substance & seriousness to this one than the first, if anything.
It's just that the humor's "on a larger scale" if that makes sense, it's a bigger film and there's more going on. But it's not just joke-after-joke ad-nauseum.
