Cause that's what happens all the time? I doubt a film director saying a bunch of dumb stuff six years ago would dominate the news cycle when there's actually people doing bad stuff now out there in the world.

I think we need to be fair. It wasn't simple dumb stuff. He didn't have a dumb sports take, or go on a rant about how much better Coke or Pepsi is. It was making "jokes" about pedophilia and the rape of women.
