Is that Atlin Mitchell? She's the stunt performer or was for some of the actresses on Arrow most notably Caity Lotz but also Katie Cassidy. For some reason this girl looks new.

Fishnets are just impractical for street level combat. Moves like sliding along the ground are out of the question, unless she wants completely bloody legs.

Yeah. Obviously both male and female characters are exaggerated and objectified in comics, but there's no denying that the female characters are the ones with the most impractical outfits by far. Sure, the men have some silly things too, but the women take the cake. There is literally no point to wearing high heels, especially for characters like BC or Catwoman who have to be jumping around rooftops.

And are we sure those aren't just old pics of Lotz's stunt double from last year?

Like I said a page or so ago, I still feel the writers aren't quite sure what to do with Laurel yet. They're moving in the right direction, but I still get annoyed that they apparently think the only way to show Laurel struggling is to make her more unlikeable to the audience.

On top of that, the guy playing Wildcat has been...well, just really bad lately. His line deliveries are incredibly stiff, and pairing her with a weak acting partner like that isn't going to help her any. I hope they drastically improve her arc soon, because I really think Cassidy has gotten the short end of the stick since S1.

I'm hoping it's not the one where he tells her she's lashing out and not boxing. Of course they'd cut a Laurel scene, not like they also cut the scene of her carrying Sara's body in 3X02 or most of her character development from S2. deleted scenes

The guy next to her is clearly Colton Haynes stunt double as you can see he is wearing the Arsenal outfit, so no. Also Sarah never wore that.

Not really. Not all impracticalities are equal, especially when the characters aren't. The Flash has super speed. Black Canary doesn't. Tripping her up (or the chances of her breaking a heel or something) is a lot easier than getting your hands on The Flash's mask and twisting it like so.

I'm not really talking about heels as much as things like capes.I remember People making a big stink over how capes are impractical and unrealistic,but these same people will fall over themselves in rage if anyone tried to take away Batman's cape.

Same thing with the fishnets argument.The same people who complain about them being impractical,turn a blind eye to Wonder Woman who's been fighting bare legged for over 70 years without the fear of bloody knees.

I personally am cool with either the fishnets or the high heels or both!
I mean its a FREAKING SUPERHERO SHOW for crying out loud!! if i can suspend belief that a man with a bow and arrow could possibly stop a gang of dudes with automatic weapons, i sure as hell am okay with a chick in high heel boots kickin ass!! the only think i really really would like to see is the "CANARY CRY!"( that ^&*( is cool!) but with the producers trying to keep this grounded in "reality" i dont think chick will be screamin people's eardrums out!Ollie wll probably give her Sarah 's gadgets she use before or maybe something incorporated into a choker / collar thing for her to wear! which sucks!!.. but hey i will take what they give me! i am glad superheroes are on TV!

Capes are definitely impractical, but they make most heroes look impressive, majestic, or dashing. High heels, more often than not, just look silly. But I understand what you're saying.

I've never liked Wonder Woman's costume, but she, at least, is somewhat invulnerable. She could fight crime naked if she wanted to.

I can appreciate your point of view, but I just don't think it would look right if they put her in fishnets.
