Well Thea's training will have been undoubtedly more hardcore that Laurel's. I hope if the two ever face off that Laurel doesn't somehow kick Thea's ass.

She looked pretty jacked at the end of the episode. I think they must have filmed it later because she clearly looked thinner at the beginning of the episode. Gotta give her credit.

It's those damn suits, anytime she's wearing something that is not the suit she looks better.. plus as far as I know everytime an actor shoots a scene where they want to show a tonned body they make the actor/actress do push ups or lift weight or wherever minutes before the scene to look buffer :cwink:

Katie has seemed hype about the Arrow/Flash cross over which slightly makes me think she might get the Canary Cry.

And yeah she was great tonight, I can't wait for the day she gets to burn all those lawyer suits they love to put her in.

That would be cool. It seems like everyone is hyped about the crossover episodes. A lot must be happening.

I still feel like the writers aren't quite sure how to handle Laurel. I like the general direction they're going, but I was annoyed that, yet again, they need to show Laurel's emotional state by having her screw things up and act unlikeable, even if it was only for a short period. I've said this many times before, but making a character more unlikeable to the audience does not equal breaking them down to a lower point emotionally. It was the big issue I had with her arc in Season 2.

And I feel bad for Cassidy because they've paired her with the worst acting partner on the show. The Wildcat guy just isn't very good. He's extremely stiff, and he delivers all his lines in an oddly rapid way, like he's rushing through them.

Hopefully they start picking up their game with her soon, because I've felt that Katie has been getting the short end of the stick with her material since season one.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Even so: who, exactly, is going to be able to do that to The Flash while he's in motion? The answer is nobody. It's a false equivalency.

I think the bottom line is all SH costumes are impractical to one extent or another. If you're willing to turn a blind eye to one,the next is easier.

Not really. Not all impracticalities are equal, especially when the characters aren't. The Flash has super speed. Black Canary doesn't. Tripping her up (or the chances of her breaking a heel or something) is a lot easier than getting your hands on The Flash's mask and twisting it like so.

Fishnets are just impractical for street level combat. Moves like sliding along the ground are out of the question, unless she wants completely bloody legs.
