What does she say?Her mother does.
What does she say?Her mother does.
What does she say?
Laurel's suit is more practical, do you prefer Sara's cleavage or something?![]()
What does she say?
Am I alone in believing the costume for Black Canary from the comics looks like a woman who should be serving cocktails in the 1950's.

I doubt even the most risque places in the 50's would have waitresses dress like that without getting closed down within a week.![]()
I thought Playboy didn't start up until the early 60's,but I could be mistaken.
October 1, 1953
....OK.I'm not into playboy,so I wouldn't know.Still, playboy bunnies didn't used to wear leather. It seems too much for that day. That's the only point I was making.
ok gotcha. Ya I knew her moms name is Dinah too, but I still find it weird they would have her go by her middle name instead of the one she is known for in the comics. Plenty of other shows have Sr and JrI don't think you understood what I meant:
The reason Laurel doesn't go by "Dinah" is because her mother (after whom she is named) does. Both she and her mother share the same first name, so she goes by Laurel in order to avoid confusion.
I know luis4u already beat me to the punch here, but I'm repeating what he said just for the sake of full clarification.
Late to the party, I know
The dumb Police baton aside, It's growing on me. The majority of it from the nect down's slightly akin to one of Dinah's post Longbow Hunters episode attire:

That also (to a smal extent). I'm surprised they didn't give her a longer coat like the one she wore prior to the start of the New 52; the one with one buttoned at the top
