It was quoted that she would be 'alive and well.' And it's apparently tied up into Flashpoint, though I don't see yet how that can be.

She can't just suddenly be alive, because Flashpoint has already happened, what with Diggle already having a son rather than a daughter now, and her father and Oliver are still grieving her death. Unless I'm wrong about that, she's still dead at this point.

If it has something to do with Flashpoint, then it must be very convoluted. It's already happened and the changes it created have already occurred.

Unless in this timeline Nyssa didn't destroy the Lazarus Pit...

Was there some new info on Katie coming back? I was watching Charlie from emergency Awesome and he seemed to suggest that she will be after episode 10.

She's in 5x08 (or 7 whichever is the crossover and big 100th) for a dream sequence and then returns for 5x10. Then she is supposed to jump over to Legends for an episode.

Okay, so I was just watching through S2 and I realized something. You know how Sara gave Laurel her jacket and Laurel used that as her Black Canary jacket, but then when Sara came back in S3 before she died (and in S4 when she was revived) she was still wearing her Canary jacket even though Laurel had it? Well, I think I figured it out, because Sara has more than one leather jacket...and check out the one that she wears whenever she rides her motorcycle.

(I couldn't find an image of her wearing it zipped-up, but she did wear it like that, zipped all the way to her throat, in S2E19 and S2E20). Compare it to both Laurel's jacket and Sara's own Canary jacket...

Y'all. Sara never gave Laurel her Canary jacket. She gave her her motorcycle jacket. It's nearly identical to the one Laurel wears. I think this makes more sense, especially if you compare the similarities to Laurel's BC jacket with Sara's motorcycle jacket.

Huh. Well considering how different they actually look when worn, I was just trying to come up with a logical reason for it. My explanation makes more sense, IMO, but you're right–in those pics it clearly is her Canary jacket. Ah, well.

I think I'd make more sense to reintroduce her in Legends. I mean, that series disregard for any resembling rules when it comes to time travel is already baffling and Sara's primary quest this season is to save Laurel/get revenge on Dahrk so... Why not?

I have a feeling that Black Siren will show up on Legends, and help Sara take down Darhk.

If anything, I can see them bringing her into the Legion of Doom club. I would be surprised if they redeemed her and it seems right up their alley to have Laurels doppelganger work with the guy who killed her. But Caity has already said that Sara wont be killing DD in the past so Laurel wont end up being saved.

If that is the case, her turning on Darhk and helping Sara beat him would be cool. I think a lot of people would love to see Black Siren play a big part in his defeat. Regarding him not being killed, the funny thing is, I remember reading an article recently about him redeeming himself. I suppose that despite all the things he has done, he does believe he is doing them for the greater good and that he is improving the world, despite the fact that he seems to enjoy causing pain and killing people more than any other big bad in the Flarrowgirl of Tomorrow (terrible, I know) universe.

I would love it if they had BS join the baddies only to have BS turn on Darhk and kill him. Just because she is bad doesnt mean that she shouldn't be pissed that her E1 counterpart got killed, that aspect of the E2 villains was kind of annoying.

I can't see Black Siren really caring about the fate of some alternate universe doppelganger. She seemed pretty intent on murder and mayhem and not necessarily in that order. But... Having said that, we really don't know anything about the character in order to make a true judgment. She's only had a few scenes with no real growth.

Laurel could come back because Sara kills Darhk in the past, but then that would upend the entire season 4 of Arrow. It would be a complete rewrite, which would be an interesting challenge for the writers in creating an entirely new history to refer to. With Darhk dead in the past, he can't make any mischief in the 'present.'

So I think they won't do that. Something will always arise to thwart Sara, whether that be unintended circumstances - or Ray.

It certainly looks a lot better with a full shirt underneath!

But when/if she does return I hope it's not a doppelganger. It wouldn't be the Laurel Lance front season 1 and on, but someone new which still leaves a body in the grave.

I have no doubt Cassidy would do awesome job as the Canary on Supergirl. And they would handle her Canary Cry properly (as Black Siren's was in Flash). I mean, Supergirl's world is an alternate earth (Earth-4 or whatever they wanna call it), so I'm sure that a Dinah Laurel Lance exists there somewhere. Maybe one day... *wistful sigh*
