I doubt it.
and you base that on what? Keep in mind now that you're going against the I.G.'s report and the CIA director's own remarks.
It's blatantly obvious that Pelosi has lied about what she knew. And honestly would anyone be surprised if the CIA did hide anything, it's the freaking CIA for crying out loud. There's always two sides of a story and the truth is somewhere in the middle.
HuhI'm so glad you guys can know what is in people's hearts. you really should profit from it. cops could just ask you if someone was guilty or not. we could do away with all those courts. all you'd need to do is watch a few minutes of video and bang we'd have the TRUTH with all the certainty in the world.
Yeah, it's illegal. But it's still the CIA, such behavior is expected from them, and they're never going to get in trouble for itas for the CIA lying to congress that's against the law. Congressional oversight is mandated by the constitution in case you forgot.
Of course the CIA is never going to get in trouble for it. No one in DC has ever had a pair
It's all about expectations.I just can't get over you guys and your cognitive dissonance. One one hand the CIA lies with impunity.
and on the other Pelosi must be lying when she said the CIA lied to/misled her because she appeared nervous when talking about it.
Because they're an organization with the power to **** you back harder if you **** with them. It's just common sense that you don't mess around with them. Now why would anyone be nervous about ratting the CIA out?

Yes, Let's not let facts get in the way, Let us let our dislike for Pelosi and a baseless suspicion of how she spoke guide our opinion on whether or not the CIA lied.![]()
It's all about expectations.
Nancy Pelosi is not only an elected official, but also the Speaker of the House and second in line of Presidential succession. We have a higher standard to elected officials, especially those in seats of actual importance and power like Pelosi is in. And dude, she pretty much got caught lying.
The CIA on the other hand is expected to be a bunch of *****ebags and do all sorts of covert illegal activities behind our backs. Sorta like Dick Cheney now that he's out of office. We expect him to be a fearmongering jerk-off in criticizing Obama's policies.

It's not basless. I mean there is evidence that she lied about what she said the CIA told her.
But again, this has nothing to do with the actions of the CIA - it's all about political affiliations. A figure like Pelosi is too polarizing for the discussion to be limited to simply the facts.
I am talking about out of office Cheney. The Dick Cheney that isn't the Vice President. He isn't an elected official anymore.hmm you just contradicted yourself. on one hand you say we hold elected officials to a higher standard especially those with high office and then you turn around and say that Cheney is expected to lie too.
are we holding Pelosi to a higher standard than the v.p.?
why the double standard?
