I hope Disney does not take as long as it did with a The Incredible sequel with a Frozen sequel
Way too sad for kids... and adults.
I'm glad they did it they way they did....people crying and singing at the same time annoys me...lol

disagree to an extent.
I think having Elsa singing a sad reprise of "Snowman" at the end, if done right, would have been a very emotional moment. Thematically, it would have been Elsa answering her sister back after all those years, only this time Anna's the one "gone."
And, it would have shown the softer (singing ) side of Elsa.
hopefully, they'll add that to the Broadway version, and I think they've hinted they might do so, because there are no camera closeups in a Broadway show ( so they have to convey it through song ).
If done right, I agree....I have seen it "done right" very few times. Also, the length of it would matter as well, I liked how they did it in Frozen though, the silence when everything stopped, was far more poignant IMO.
yeah...the silence and everything in "suspended animation" was a good effect.
also, instead of having Elsa sing a sad reprise of "Snowman," they could have worked that melody into the score.
WELCOME TO THE HYPE.
Elsa of course!
Who would you cast as a live action Elsa and Anna? For Elsa maybe former Disney star Emily Osment. For Anna I have no idea.
We need a Tangled/Frozen crossover.

Frozen is crushing it this weekend. Saturday estimates are around 6 million, which would be a new single day record for Frozen in Japan, beating the 5.6m Frozen did on Tuesday. If Sunday behaves like today we are looking at a $12 million eighth weekend. The biggest weekend Frozen has had up until now was 8.6m and its opening weekend was 7.5m (opening weekend is still its lowest weekend so far).
Someone in the Japan thread at boxoffice.com mentioned this will be the biggest 8th weekend number by a wide margin and I'm trying to find out what the 8th weekend record is.
Spirited Away probably have the record since it's the biggest movie of all time in Japan
^ Pretty impressive. Has Frozen ever stopped in Japan since 4 or 5 months ago for its release date, or does it just continue until no one watches it at a movie theater anymore?
