Now can Disney keep it up?

Saturday estimate is 1.4m, the early 3m estimate for the weekend appears to be spot on.
While Frozen seems unaffected by competition (-17.4% this weekend), Lego took a huge hit, dropping over -45.7% to 11.005m. Just goes to show how strong Frozen's holds really are and that those kinds of holds are not the norm, even for other huge animated movies, like Lego.

Well, it is going to happen....and hey, maybe it could be a Toy Story 3 kind of thing.
Pixar has made 4 sequels (Toy Story 2 & 3, Cars 2, and Monsters University), and with the exception of Cars 2 the other sequels were done pretty well. If Disney can take a page out of their sister company with Frozen 2, then it might turn out to be a decent sequel.
Because Frozen is a part of the main Disney Animated lore, they probably should tread lightly. I mean the only sequel that worked out was The Rescuers Down Under and dare I say it was better than the original.
I think I can hold out until the Blu-Ray comes out.
I think I can.......I think I can.......I think I can........
There hasn't been any direct to DVD sequels since the Eisner days. It's actually harder to find them on DVD/Blu.
On Amazon, Return of Jarrar is like 40 bucks because it's out of print. And it's all intentional.
How did Val Kilmer end up being in a group with.... Sinbad...and Dane Cook. So sad.
Yeah, I would hope that we get more of Elsa's story, so to speak, in a sequel. But, I think what made the first movie so different, was that it wasn't about a princess finding her true love, and I don't want them to simply go back to that because of a lack of imagination.
I think if they want to make a sequel, the challenge will be to tell an unconventional story but still keep it compelling. And the first movie is about the strained relationship between Elsa and Anna, as well as Elsa's struggle with her secret and her exile as a result of her power's revelation. The sequel will have to find a plot and story that will give the sisters an emotional journey and obstacles for them to overcome.
well, it would have to make sense and add to the story.
for Elsa's LI, I think it would be neat if he, too, had powers of his own. (Elsa can't be the only magically gifted person that exists in that world).
perhaps he is a prince from a rival kingdom and could serve as the main "villain" for the movie (a villain who'd reform in the end).
so, Elsa would be torn between finding someone "like her" who she can relate to, but also she must protect her kingdom as Queen.
