Cumberbatch is rumored for the villain role in the next Bond film.. that came out months before the release of Skyfall..

I like seeing more people getting on board with Dujardin. When I've suggested him in the past, people acted like it was this crazy idea, lol. But I really think an accent could work with this particular character ("Stephen Vincent Strange" is quite the French name after all, haha), and he's such a wonderful comedic AND dramatic actor with great screen presence. He'd be a fantastic addition to the MCU, imo.

His face just screams Strange to me. And anyone who saw The Artist knows he can rock a mustache, lol.

Looking at some of the names on here I think the good thing for us fans is that (unlike certain other iconic characters) there are a handfull of candidates who would all make good Dr. Stranges, so there's a good chance that whoever we end up with won't give us the bum's rush.

Now with Cranston as Mordo, Cumberbatch as Strange and Cornish as Clea all I need is find someone for the Ancient One and my dream cast for this movie is complete,

I think Adrien Brody would be great also, but I'm currently re-watching Sherlock at the moment and I have a bit of a man-crush for Cumberbatch going on.

He's nothing short of sensational.

Jean's new multiple langue thriller Möbius looks amazing..it's being pegged in the vain of Inception (minus the sci-fi element).. hopefully it puts the actor in a more serious light to international audiences along with his role in The Wolf of Wall Street..I still think they need to go European for Strange

Brody puts himself in terrible films.. he was awesome at one point but that Oscar curse seems to really got ahold of him.. just ask Halle Berry or Cuba Gooding Jr..

Kevin Feige confirmed Doctor Strange is apart of the Phase Three lineup! I think there are awesome actors that could be considered for Strange but Benedict Cumberbatch would be such a great franchise star..

I dunno. After STID, Cumberbatch might be good for a Marvel villain. Not sure who though. If he's Strange, he certainly can't have that curly hair as him, or he'll look like a 70s version.

I'm a huge fan of Sherlock and I friggin' love Cumberbatch. I can dig BCas Strange - he's a fantastic actor and the new Ster Trek movie will give him more exposure in the states (do you guys get Sherlock in the U.S? Easily far superior to the Downey Jnr movies, or Elementary).

Holy ***** - when's that from and why was he there? Dont tell me Benedict is a comicbook nerd like us; that would just be the icing on the cake.

I'll be honest here - I think I'd like it even more if he had the curly hair and it did look like a 70's version. It's a bit different and outside the box; the perfect metaphor for a character called Stephen Strange.

I love Dujardin and Cumberbatch. But I don't think either one is right for The Sorcerer Supreme.

I think Cumberbatch would be cool, and maybe Dujardin. Ever since this picture I have had a hard time seeing anyone but Joseph Fiennes in the role, even though I know there are probably better choices.
