Instead of just having Wong as Strange's protector, they could even make him his mentor of sorts. He'll need someone to guide him in his early days as sorcerer supreme, and Wong could serve both functions as mentor and protector. That would give him a higher status than Strange instead of his lowly servant.

If they wanted to pay homage to the servant role, Wong could pose as Strange's servant in certain social situations, or Strange could introduce him as such because some of his arrogance still comes through and he speaks without thinking, when in fact Wong is his superior. It could be a relationship like Louis XIV (the Man in the Iron Mask) and D'Artagnan, where D'Artagnan often trains him in some versions, but then kind of acts as his "servant", but we all know D'Artagnan is much more than that.

They haven't announced the cast yet. I doubt the movie is just going to be three people.

Well, all is not lost. If all were lost, then it would only have Alexander Pierce in a boat at sea. It would be a strangely watered down version.

Benedict is done with Hamlet as of yesterday but poor man after an exhausting Hamlet he'll start on Strange with barely a rest.

So excited though for the start of filming which means a lot of great stuff we'll be getting.

The article says that filming will being in December which could explain why there's not a lot of news

Google told me I should know this actor from a couple of movies, but I can't remember any of his roles.
I guess he'll only be in this film to operate on Strange's Hands. West's comic book history is a short and unimpressive one

He was fantastic in HBO's Boardwalk Empire.

Strange is assembling a wonderfully eclectic cast.

Could be name only, but there definitely seems to be a lot of attention on The Oath.

Unless they give us some version of the Oath. Which looking at the cast and the rumored involvement of Night Nurse(unless this has been debunked, I havent kept up with this that well), could be the case.

I didn't think the Oath dealt with Mordo and Dormamu though... and was more about an evil pharmaceutical company?

eh its pretty clear the 2 will be used more than just cameos though

Could be Mordo and Dormammu are somehow behind/involved in the compnay if it is a version of teh Oath?
