I'm just excited to see another great origin story again. I'll never be sick of them as long as they're interesting and worth doing. Doctor Strange has one of the best origins so I'm glad we're going to see that journey. It makes sense to because we have to follow him from a world of science and into the next of the occult. He's our eyes.

Cumberbatch is looking good as Strange. But I would've thought if he's really broken he would wear something more like Batman Begins Bruce Wayne or maybe even some rags. He still looks a little too civilised with his jacket and shirt.

Strange lost his job and spent all his earnings in search for a cure (and, if I'm not mistaken, there's no such thing as free medical treatment in the US for whatever reason. so yes, accidents might very well turn you into a hobo, at least in the States)

I think even if someone like Strange lost all his $$ he would be able to still have a jacket, a shirt, pants and some shoes on his paid trip to Asia. The scruffy beard just means he doesnt give a crap to stay clean shaven.

Just once I'd liked to see an origin story where our hero goes to the Himalaya's to train and they're wearing a tuxedo.

I just would like Strange to be even more down on his luck that he can't afford proper clothes because he's used up every last saving to try to repair his hands. This would really show him humbled and that once where he wore nice and expensive clothes, he can't even afford anything now and is even occasionally forced to beg, whereas perhaps before he might have turned his nose up at a beggar. It could be a bit like Trading Places where Dan Ackroyd has lost his fortune and was a homeless hobo.

Maybe Strange can get some fish stuck in his beard.

So happy they are in full swing for this one. I love me some Strange! Really curious to see if they try to continue on the whole magic is science in an advanced form thing from the Thor films. So many possibilities open up with this film. And damn is that beard looking all kinds of awesome. This is going to be one hell of a movie!

I hate Martin Freeman with a white hot passion (ergo, I LOVED Fargo S1), so can Jonny Lee Miller actually replace him in your scenario?

We have Helen Cho in Age of Ultron. I can't think of any male Asian actors in Marvel films.
