Don't Hate The Hater, Hate The Hate! - Part 13

I hate when iTunes makes the one song I really want right now "album only."

I hate how this house smells of bleach every time my mom does laundry. How much bleach does she need to use? This cannot be good for our lungs. :csad:

It can't be good for your clothes either. How are they not falling apart?

How did that happen?

He's an ex-con who hangs out with other ex-cons. Some of them committed a crime that my brother wasn't even around for, and someone named him so they'd get a softer sentence. And now because my mother refuses to let my brother be defended by a public defender, she's just closed/cashed in several of our life insurance policies (including the policy she's has on me since I was 5) to pay for a lawyer.

I feel sorry for you and your family, your brother included
But dude, family stuff, keep it under wraps

I hate people that act like they know what they're talking about when it comes to films or even horror films but they have their head up their asses.

That's messed up dude.

You got your own policy?

That's really ****ed up. Why is she so against a public defender? Sure they would probably give him someone asking him to plea for a lighter sentence, but it seems that cashing in all of those policies will hurt a lot more in the long run to multiple people.

No, I just took my old policy for granted. Now I'm gonna have to make sure I live for another year so I'll have paid off one of my debts and can afford to get my own policy.

I should note that my brother already has two strikes and was 3 months away from being off parole. As far as she's concerned, the difference between paying for a lawyer or getting a public defender means the difference between pure freedom and lifetime imprisonment.

You know, the really frustrating part about this is that, according to my brother, this isn't the first time this has happened. The second time he got sent away, another group of his friends named him in connection to a robbery to get lighter sentences, and the victims couldn't even identify my brother in a line-up. Whether he was actually involved in that one, I have no clue.

hate to say it, but maybe your brother should have learned to stay away from those 'friends' who are so willing to lie to send him away.

Hopefully he gets off and does just that.

Hopefully he gets off. I'm 90% sure he hasn't learned a damn thing, though.

Three of us hate the 4th person we are living with...

...can I ask a question with regards to part of this...the three of us contribute to bills, rent, utilities, groceries, and/or have our name(s) on the lease for where we are living......the 4th person isn't on the lease or doesn't contribute to any bills, etc, doesn't have a job but somehow can buy alcohol and cigarettes and thats basically what the person does all day......like if we told the person to leave or packed their few items and told them to leave, we can do that right

we've talked with the person and said get out, but they say they would go to the police because they live here...my thing is telling them "stupid your not on the lease or pay bills...we don't have any form of agreement with you"...

...myself I'm still contemplating how the person got here in the first place?

Mainly...are we obligated to write a letter or contact the court or police or something? I don't think we need to, but the 4th person seems to be making up laws and landlord/tenant things...its somehow illegal for us to kick him out even though they didn't sign anything or pay or contribute to anything

from what i understand, they're not renting nor are they paying bills so they aren't contributing, so you all can draw up your own eviction notice for them. since they're not paying anything, i don't think you have to go to court to fill for eviction papers, but you may or may not have to give them 30 day notice to find other living arrangements. i don't remember exactly and that law probably varies by state

Thanks...its appreciated. The only issue is telling the person who has no perception of reality. You wanna tell em. :yay:

Pfft, dump some Ambien in his drink, then dump his ass out on the sidewalk with all his stuff when he passes out. Problem Solved.

Hopefully it wasn't something I said.

I hate how much I've been letting my anger get the best of me over the last month or so. I've just been snapping at the most inane, pointless stuff. I almost ruined one of my longest friendships tonight over something ridiculous because I got angry. I have to get a lock on this somehow.
