I hate that some of my foreign co-workers tend to have conversations in their native language around me, I'm not being racist but it's rude and sounds like gibberish when foreign people aren't making cohesive words.

I'm hispanic but I've never had conversations on Spanish with the only other hispanic co-worker not even in private.

It bothers me too when I'm in situations like that, except I'm also Hispanic and am usually around other Hispanics who do it. I've even noticed that sometimes they would do it purposely to talk about about someone else who doesn't speak Spanish.

At the bank I work at I understand it because we get many foreign customers (Asian, Armenian) but it's rude when they're talking amongst themselves, and all I get from it are incoherent BS kind of like you're listening to Klingon clicks and noises like they're about to cough up a lung.

If you're minding your own business anyway, it shouldn't matter what language people speak around you. But you can't understand them, so now you can't eavesdrop on their conversation, but somehow that makes them rude.

i hate when my coworkers speak in other languages on the work floor because

1) we're government and part of the base and it's not allowed, yet the manager speaks their language as well so she doesn't enforce it. but actually participates in doing this.

2) it's unprofessional (mostly due to the above)

3) customers complain because they feel as they're being talked about (usually are)

4) when they switch from english to another language when you get closer, it's rude and of course people are going to feel like they're being talked about, even if the conversation is mundane

I hate nagging women. I'd absolutely hate being a lesbian because of the pure hatred I have for nagging. women. Thank goodness I am not. No offense to lesbisns I support your right to get married and not abused blah, blah ect..ect..
