Don't Hate The Hater, Hate The Hate! - - - - Part 16

I make a stupid bartending joke, and then this thread turned into anti-drinking.

I recently got my first iPhone, and while I am really liking how much of an upgrade it is from my last phone, I really hate how people whenever I go out with some friends, they see my phone and immediately want to see it as if they don't have one themselves. It really makes me hesitant to put anything on it, whether it be games or something more private, because I'm afraid of people finding something that's only for me. I guess I could put a code lock on it, but I know that wouldn't stop them and it would be more of a hassle for me when I use it on my own.

:lmao:

Its true though.

You should put a code lock on it anyway in case you lose it.

I hate Steam's offer to download a full game on PC for free only on trial basis
Nearly 10GB of the data in the disk space is useless after the time limit

The good news is being able to remove that without the software going crazy and rejects working

I hate whenever I lose or misplace my stuff. :cmad: :argh:

I hate how many previews and trailers you have to skip through when watching a Disney Blu-ray. I put on Beauty and the Beast for my 4 year old nephew and it's annoying to have to go through all that just to get to the movie. Really young kids tend to get impatient pretty fast, Disney should have thought of that and just left most of the trailers in the bonus features section.

In the DVD device we own, I press the menu button and it jumps straight there

On a Disney blu ray you have to hit chapter skip 17 times before getting to the title screen.

But then you won't know what to buy next :cwink:

I hate the biggest thing Nolan inspired was the apprehension toward actual comic book elements when adapting to movies.

That was around before Nolan even touched Batman. See: the first X-Men movie cracking a joke at wearing yellow spandex.

You're right. I decided to do it afterall.

Hasn't that always been the case though, going back to the days of VHS.
and make sure you download Find My iPhone in case you lose it
Thanks, I'll look into this.

But at least with VHS you could always fast forward. Not always true for DVD and BluRay.

Just makes downloading that much more appealing. The movie just starts.

MKV and MP4 are often better than AVI format videos :oldrazz:

That's not that bad. More of an in-joke than anything. I'm talking about the ridiculous conversations going on in the DC films section about how the other Justice League members could be changed or introduced so that the realism of The Dark Knight trilogy and (oddly enough) Man of Steel can keep its "integrity"

...why would the other heroes in the JL need to be changed, even if they take place in the same fictional universe as Nolan's Bat-movies? Say what you will about those movies being "realistic," but that trilogy started with a band of ninjas rolling a dehydrating bomb across a city on a train, and ended with Batman tethering a bomb away on his flying ventilation fan.

Hate having to keep everything under lock and key in my house. One roomy likes to steal things...(which I think I may have mentioned a long while back)...
