Don't Hate The Hater, Hate The Hate! - - - - Part 16

I stopped collecting weekly comics about 18 months ago, with every intention to go back to it...now, I'm not so sure. I collected comics for about 13-14 years, and while I still love the stories and characters, it might just be better to pick up trades. The quality of monthly comics, superhero stuff in particular, wavers far too much.

I hate when people tell me things like "You should do this...." or "You know what you should do..." I know they are usually just trying to help, but it almost feels like they are telling me do and I hate when people do that unless I'm in a position to take orders. Not to mention, it comes across as though they think they know what's best for me without even knowing me at all.

I hate that the only beard I can manage is a gnarly neck beard. Stupid genes.

At least you can grow some semblance of a beard, I'm in my mid-30's and I still can't grow a beard that I usually end up with week old stubble and I can't grow a decent mustache because I don't grow hair on that upper part of the mouth beneath the nose.

i hate how this sequestration thing has cut my paycheck in half because of the forced cut hours

I hate that things that the fanboy in me obsessed over for many years just dont excite me any more. Its like a part of me is gone. :csad:

i also hate how everyone posts all these stupid Like if... photos on fb, and recipes and all this other crap from other sites like my e-cards etc

I do too. I had to hide all of one of my best friends posts because of it. Facebook was designed to make you hate the people you love.

yeah it pisses me off because one, these pages they're reposting from get paid once they get up to certian numbers and most of them just steal stuff off pinterest, tumblr, etc

and then recently with the boston bombing, pages made these photoshopped pics people were reblogging about the "8 yr old girl who died in the marathon" when the picture is months old at least, the number sticker on her shirt clearly states a different race, and oh yeah, the 8 year old child who passed was a boy. i hate this exploitation

Don't you wish you were like me? I liked the Iron Man movies but I'm no die hard fan of IM so while I'm excited by the trailers and set pics I'm in no way eager to find out the plot of the movie.

I'm actually a bigger fan of Iron Man on film than the comics. I always liked the character , but he was never on my top ten. I didn't expect there to be huge twists in the third film and thought reading spoilers wouldn't matter. I was wrong and some of it doesn't sound too good.

I hate Comingsoon.net and SHH!'s video player because it never loads or it gives me an error.

I hate clicking on the articles on the front page because my browser always freezes up!

I hate getting a haircut. "Wow, you have so much hair." Yeah that's why I'm here dumbass.

I hate that for the first time in years, I'm not reading a single DC book... :(
Wow, to drop your absolute favorite characters must be harsher when you read stories of other characters

I could probably drop every DC book except Demon Knights.

eh, there's probably a couple of more I'd keep that are just slipping my mind.
No Vertigo?

I hate that the only beard I can manage is a gnarly neck beard. Stupid genes.
I'm losing my scalp hair even with hair loss treatment, not blaming my genes if they were the cause of it

lex luthor it!

Funny, I never consider Vertigo as DC. Especially as how DC seems to be killing it off.

I still read Fables and Fairest, but they don't grab me like they used to, and I could drop them.

then you won't have to tip the barber

I've been cutting my own hair for the past two years or so. I'm not an expert or professional, but it definitely beats having to go to the barber every couple of weeks, not to mention I've saved a ton of money by doing so. It did take me a while to figure out just how to cut my hair since I have a weird thing going on where it all doesn't go in the same direction on top, but I've managed to convince my brother on several occasions that I went to the barber with how good it's come out at times.

I cut my own hair few a few years in high school and college.

Then I got tired of doing it. My barber does a good job now that I've got him trained.

To be honest, I've actually been letting my hair grow for the past few months, mostly because I've noticed some hair loss in the temples and hair thinning on one of my sides, so I've been trying to cover it up. But its helped me learn a lot about my hair, and I'm anxious to test out the new clipper that I got just last night.

Time to shave the head. Might as well start now, rather than trying to cover it up for years.
