Don't Hate The Hater, Hate The Hate! - - - - Part 16

I hate that I don't share tastes in music or movies with my friends. I see movies that really excite me, and my friends scoff and tell me I have terrible taste. They all have extremely popular tastes in stuff, be it movies or music and I just kinda go with whatever tickles my fancy. Makes it hard when my friend want to have a movie night, and I'm suggesting watching like a Jarmusch movie and they want to watch the most recent big budget blah blah blah. They aren't wrong in liking different stuff, I just wish I could find more like minded folks.

For reasons like that, I don't share what I like with friends, they can be annoying about it
Ones annoying at one moment I don't mind, ones annoying all the time get on my nerve

I don't have that problem because I don't have any friends. :woot::csad:

i hate when people post vague ish on social networks when you know what they're about. either talk to the person (or me) about the issue or shut up. the end.

I hate it when my phone breaks connection these days

I hate that the vacant apartment next to me just had a few college guys move into it. They had a party last night. They will pay. I think tonight I'll be playing a few of the most obnoxious Tom Waits songs I can find at maximum volume.

OR you could introduce yourself and start attending their parties?

i hate that my brother moved out like 2 months ago and hasn't come to get the rest of his stuff out of his room. i'm ready to box it up and throw it out /evil

Nope. College bro parties are always awful, sub-human gatherings. I have a reputation to maintain of a crabby, monster next door.

I hate that apparently comic and superhero shirts are now being known by some people as "Sheldon Shirts".

I have an actual Sheldon T-Shirt...

Some people say I am a lot like him. They're probably right too.

Superhero t-shirts with stripes around the sleeves. Usually worn over another shirt.

but they're fun...there are people there. unlike here. i hate it here.

I hate that my thread was deleted. Not even closed, just outright deleted with no explanation. It's sad that a discussion that was completely civil outside of one poster was apparently too much for certain mods. I guess there's no point in pointing out to people that perception is reality in some cases. Shame on the mod or mods who deleted my thread for apparently not being able to handle a grown up discussion on racism. Ironically enough, those posts seem to have been left alone.

I too hate that Darth's thread was deleted and a mod didn't explain anything. It was a very civil discussion that I was enjoying to read that was actually helping out and benefiting the community. For it to be deleted I feel is disrepectful to us posters, especially to Darth who cared enough about the Hype's reputation to start the discussion.

I hate it that people expect you to be sociable and talkative and if you aren't either they give a look like you're weird or something.

I mind my own business, I don't like making eye contact if I don't know you just go the other way, don't expect me to break the ice and start up saying random stupid conversation pieces.

I hate that I've "wasted" so much time typing up thousands of posts on this Internet forum over the past several years. But I also love it.

I agree with this one thousand percent. I have friends who think I'm a monstrous cave troll because I didn't want to go talk to a bunch of people that were having a party at the pool in my apartment complex. I didn't know them, I didn't want to know them. They were having a party and I had **** to do. Personally, I find people who are super outgoing and strike up conversations with every person they come across to be embarrassing.

I'm the same way as well.
