How many banned so far? :o

I'm currently avoiding the thread and my facebook newsfeed.

SpideyVille....you really need to get out from under your mother.
I'm really trying. I've barely been home this past weekend, and we've barely spoken ever since I started working, so I'm hoping that she's finally getting the clue that I'm trying to be independent from her.

At this point, I am the man of the house and I make more than my mom, who should be making more but isn't because she took out so many loans from her job. But because of this, I feel like its time I get treated with more respect.
FYI, you shouldn't be entitled to more respect because you are "the man of the house." :o

But I agree that it's harder for people to suddenly treat you differently if they are used to walking all over you before. Especially parents. We've stopped trying with my dad - he still thinks I'm a weakling who can't take care of herself. I just don't mention how much weight I'm lifting at the gym, or how much work I'm doing to break into my new career. :oldrazz: But it's definitely very hard when you're stuck living with her.

I hate that someone in China tried to log into my gmail account.

Well when I say I'm the "Man of the house," I'm not trying to have some machismo type of attitude about it. It's just that for the past 5-6 years, it was always expected that I would take up that role after I graduated high school, and I always felt that pressure being placed on me, almost as though me getting a job was suddenly going to make me my mom's savior or something. And I'd be lying if I said that that didn't affect my views of getting a job sooner.

As you can tell from my comments in other threads, I have this whole problem with growing up and being an adult and doing things like an adult and its because I really don't feel like I am 24 years old. Even during these past few weeks, I keep telling my sister in law that I feel like a teenager when I'm at work, or when I hang out with her and other friends who are older. I'm really trying to grow out of that but its so hard because these are the lessons and experiences that I should have had years ago, but because of how I was brought up, I was never allowed to get to this point and it really does mess with me because I feel like I'm at that in between phase of being a boy and being a man.

I hate stopping in the middle of a workout to go to the bathroom.

I hate that the power window on my right back passenger door just broke. It fell down while I was driving. Very maddening.

I hate how more and more articles on the internet are in video format. It's so much faster for me to read a written article than waiting for a video to load...after you sit through the ads.

Yeah, now I can't read the news and watch TV.

Yahoo! is so guilty of this.

I've complained about this several times before, but I really hate the people who live above us. :cmad:

They are upset because we keep making complaints about them, but they don't seem to realize that my mom has made the complaints because they keep doing things that's damaging our apartment. We just had out bathroom ceiling fixed after a leak there, and now there's a leak in my room because they set up their air conditioner the wrong way. They claim the landlord put it in for them when they moved in, but I heard them putting it up themselves a few months ago.

Comcast is possibly the worst. When I go to check my Comcast email account there will be an interesting story about some celebrity or some other news event and you have to wait for a 20-30 second ad to play. Then the host who is talking about the story rambles on before they show pictures or get to the point.

This. In the time it takes for those videos to finish playing, I could've read an entire article.

Just one of those weekends where everything goes wrong. A guy I'm interested in I haven't heard from, I think he might just be caught up in theater since it's a busy schedule. My laptop hard drive broke down, so now I'm praying all data will be saved. And I had to attend my Uncle's wedding which the wedding was - as his son, my cousin put it "bull ****." So, I just hate those weekends where everything that can go wrong does go wrong.

I like tall dudes. Punching them in the junk is that much easier.

When a group of us at work had to go get some samples ASAP, we joked about running through the campus as a group on a mission. My 4'11" coworker said she'd take people out at the knees, and my 6'2" coworker said he'd elbow people in the face. :funny:

I hate these guys: http://eveil.tumblr.com/post/55394645882/warning-these-guys-having-a-camera-on-their

Yes I know, girls with cleavage are asking to be looked at. But they aren't asking to have their cleavage put all over the internet without their consent! If you're gonna have the gall to do that, at least have the gall to ask! Plus boobs with no faces attached = serious woman issues, guys-who-do-that. Go cry yourselves to sleep with your Real Doll.

My friend had a sickeningly stereotypical comic book nerd (pale white guy, obese, glasses, sweaty) try to take a pic down her shirt at one SDCC when he thought she wasn't looking. She wasn't even cosplaying nor trying to show them off.

Don't be that guy, SHHers. I will renounce your name.
