You know what comes out the week after Warcraft? Finding Dory. The sequel to one of the biggest animated films of all time.
Are you going to watch the film in a theater? Some shots I hadn't seen at the end. The shots of the female Orc crawling or whatever she is doing are bad.
Depends on my brother and the reviews. If he wants to go, I'll go. But he will have to pay or at least buy me popcorn. Are you going to watch the film in a theater?

Fair enough.Depends on my brother and the reviews. If he wants to go, I'll go. But he will have to pay or at least buy me popcorn.![]()
I was a Warcraft fan, played a bit of WoW with my brother and a few of our friends. But he was a big WoW fan, and spent a good amount of time with it, before the big change. He was down with the movie, until I showed him the clips. He really liked the one with the Orcs. I also finally got him to watch Vikings, so Fimmel excites him.Fair enough.
I never want to give the impression that I support crap. If it isn't good, I am only going if the kid brother drags me. I'll probably own him one after dragging him to Alice.I wasnt going to, but **** it, Ill watch it and in 3D too. I want more hard fantasy films in theaters and bad as this film might be I cant bring myself to strangle the baby in the crib. If supporting this possible dud encourages studios to invest in other hard fantasy films then thats a win for me.

Looks like he's interested to watch the film. I kinda feel every gamer should watch it, at least. I mean, people can say anything about it - poorly advertised or doesn't look good enough by modern blockbuster standards, but I it respects it's core auditory, it's source, and is made with passion and heart. How likeable it is to GA - remains to be seen.I was a Warcraft fan, played a bit of WoW with my brother and a few of our friends. Why does someone playing games have to do with seeing this movie? And do we know this movie is made with passion and heart? You can't really know that until seeing it. I don't begrudge anyone being excited, but I don't like how it seems people are giving this a bit of a bye because it is a "video game" movie.Looks like he's interested to watch the film. I was a Blizzard fan during late 90s - early 00s. Maybe right till WoW arrived. WC-WCII-D-SC-WC3-DII. Played WoW for some time as a Draenei, when Burning Crusade hit. But then I had to drop it, since the game required more and more time to progress or achieve something. I didn't have nor that much time, nor enthusiasm. But seeing these old characters in a live action film - Grom, Medivh, Khadgar, Lothar and so on... Not to mention expanded lore of WC3 and WoW.
I only support crap for pretty women and stuff I had footy pajamas for.Eh we all support crap every once in a while. Guilty pleasures and the like. At least this would be for a good cause.

Well, I can see they didn't drop the license to anyone willing to buy it, they tried to make the film for many years, they kicked Raimi off the project for trying to do the story, that wasn't representing the source. All that and more points towards them trying to do the best. Duncan is a capable filmmaker, who's a gamer and WoW fan himself. And so on... Well, even the footage points towards that. Why does someone playing games have to do with seeing this movie? And do we know this movie is made with passion and heart? At the same time it all looks like an experiment. Looks like the company decided - let's try to carry the film on gamers shoulders... I don't know what they were thinking, but the rumor, that the company doesn't know how to advertise the film ended up being true. I mean, clearly they have no idea. Unless the film is a total catastrophe (and I don't believe that), I can't really explain the trailers they were putting out. Recent clips show much more soul and quality to the film, than those cheap attempts at presenting the film as a Transformers rival...I agree with you on what will make or break this movie. If people thing WoW fans are going to take this to victory, they are crazy. The casual movie goers are what you need.
I never said it's good because it honors the source material. I said people should give it a chance, especially gamers. Because it's rare in game to movie adaptations.Ahh, the old "it's good because it honors the source material".
Yeah I think those are the huge differences between Carter and Warcraft. But saves Jones is:
a.) Warcraft is not as expensive as John Carter, which has double the budget.
b.) Unlike Carter, Warcraft DOES have a modern and fairly big fan base.
