Deadpool is one of the most groundbreaking CBM ever made.
In other words Marvel's Phase III, which is exactly what won me over. Not to mention that no other studio in hollywood would have done movies for Antman, Doctor Strange, Guardians, Panther or Captain Marvel.
Feige made all that happen.
Fox was already moving in that direction with Deadpool, Gambit, X-23 and Multiple Man.Anyway, it will be a long time before Marvel makes any solo mutant movies. I think Feige will try a different approach with the X-men than Fox did, which is focus more on the team than just a few members every time. They may not even use Magneto in the first movie just so they can explore other villains, similar to what they are doing with Spider-man. No way they are bringing in Wolverine the first movie either.
Fox was already moving in that direction with Deadpool, Gambit, X-23 and Multiple Man.
Gambit was the only problem getting started, but X-23 and MM was coming, they was in the script phase. And yet only one of them actually got their own movie. Talk is cheap until something actually happens.
They were finally branching out with New Mutants but clearly something didn’t work as there hasn’t been an official peep from the studio since the teaser was released.
And they would likely ignore each other leading to more inconsistencies and continuity errors, and pat themselves at the back for "being different". Thank God Disney is putting a stop to this madness.Fox was already moving in that direction with Deadpool, Gambit, X-23 and Multiple Man.
I don't think they was going to ignore each other. Eventually we would have gotten a movie based on the comic book Deadpool versus Gambit.
The only reason that would've happened with this studio and with this cast and with those actors would be because Reynolds wants to work with Tatum. Not because of some overwhelming desire of the filmmakers to see Deadpool interact with Gambit. Anyways that ship has sailed. That train has left the station. This bird has left the nest. The horse is out of the barn.IEventually we would have gotten a movie based on the comic book Deadpool versus Gambit.
It’s quite obvious you didn’t see either Deadpool movie. If you did, maybe you need to rewatch them. The two Deadpool films ignored all the other X-Men films, unless you count Deadpool making fun of Origins: Wolverine.
