HBO has set April 1 as the date for the 10-episode second-season premiere of ”Game of Thrones.”
Fantasy drama was a huge ratings winner for the pay cabler in its debut last year, as well as a massive profit center for the net since HBO produces the series as well. In addition to be a domestic hit, ”Thrones” drew millions of viewers around the world.

Another thing to look forward to before The Avenger's premiere on May 4th. Btw, I'd love to get the GOT DVD set with the Stark's logo on the cover, but now it's the bad time to buy it due to money issue.

And oh yeah, the new Ultimate Spider-man show & Avengers EMH season 2 are supposed to premiere on the same day. That would be a lot of good tv in one day.

Surprised I'm the first one to post it, but CONGRATS AGAIN PETER!!

With Tyrion being a fairly long-term role for this show, I wonder if he's going to become the John Laroquette or Kelsey Grammer of this category for as long as GOT is on the air.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, Tyrion has a bigger role from here on forward, which makes me wonder if they should bump him up to lead actor category, it's a bit tricky since it's a show with so many characters with equal amount of roles to play but he'll certainly will have more screen-time. Anyway great for Dinklage getting another win.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, Tyrion has a bigger role from here on forward, which makes me wonder if they should bump him up to lead actor category, it's a bit tricky since it's a show with so many characters with equal amount of roles to play but he'll certainly will have more screen-time. Rather see Peter stick to the supporting character category, so he doesn't have to go up against Hamm, Cranston and Buscemi for awards.

A Clash of Kings was mostly Tyrion chapters, felt like every other chapter was Tyrion. If he's going to get a lead actor nomination, it would likely only be next season.

If you have Sky Atlantic, (which is the only way to see the second season in the U.K. in April 'leagally') then you should be able to watch all the first season online. Short of that I don't know of any other leagal channels to go through.

I never did say there was anything wrong with the supporting acting category. I'm just speculating, if they want more actors in their shows getting recognized and with Tyrion being easily one of the popular characters I could see them bumping him up as lead, mind you, I'm not saying they should but it's a open possibility, but any recognition for this series is good enough, it's not that often fantasy tv-series getting this kind of acclaims.

And Sean Bean is a good actor but his performance in the series doesn't feel very award-worthy, that's me though.

HBO is going to replay the series every Thursday starting Jan 26.
