Would just like to say thanks everyone for their efforts, I have found a way to watch the first series now and I am enjoying it a lot.

I'm making a prediction. Episode 1 will be titled "Ours is the Fury" and episode 10 will be titled "Hear Me Roar."

I'd be surprised if "A Clash of Kings" isn't used as the title for one of the episodes.

Looking forward to completing the first season now, cant wait for the 2nd season to start, it starts here the day after it does in the US.

So, I have finished the first two books and am going to try to read the third before the second season starts. Anyway, I feel like why people love the third book is now going to be ruined for me because as I was reading a piece on the series in the NYTimes they spoiled [blackout]Joffrey is poisoned and Robb Stark is killed at some ceremony or other[/blackout] in the third book. I feel disappointed because I already know the big twists and the last one makes me depressed.

Those 2 events aren't even the best parts of the book, IMO. In fact, they aren't even the biggest game-changing events of the book.

Yeah don't put off reading it because those were spoiled for you. There's still plenty of epic stuff in the third book. It's the best in the series so far. Although I have a feeling this sixth book (whenever it comes out :wall:) is going to on par with A Storm of Swords (at least I hope it is). We do have a book thread going if you want to join us over there.

First Extended Trailer for Season 2
Straight from the horse’s mouth:

“... a new trailer for season 2 of GAME OF THRONES will be debuting on HBO this Sunday, at 8:59 pm, just before the series premiere of the new HBO drama, LUCK. This trailer will feature new episodic footage and will be the first extended look at the new season.”

Mark your calendars, folks. And for those who are True Blood fans, HBO also says there’ll be a “short graphic tease” for season 5 of that show at 8:58 PM

I'm thinking about getting the first four books on my iPhone, so I can read it on the go (even though I have the novels on paperbacks), but it costs $30 total. Do you guys think it's a good price?

It's too bad it was spoiled for you, but the entire experienced is way richer than the eventual end of a couple characters. I recommend you read them all anyways, as quickly as possible, then read 'em all again.

Tomorrow at 8:59pm, HBO will air the season 2 trailer.

"A very small man can cast a very large shadow"

Argh, I can't wait!!!!!

Looks ****ing incredible!
