I don't remember the quote, but the impression I got was that she was quite plain to ugly looking. But she had that red hair and that body.

Yeah, the books seem to indicate that she's plain but has a certain mystique about her. To Jon, anyway. Might just be his own inexperience with women at the time talking.

Yeah, I got the impression she wasn't ugly, just looked old for her age.

Probably had a couple missing teeth too, given the Wildlings' standard of living. ;)

Well she is a rugh looking with unkempt hair, tattered cothing and all that. I'm sure with a bath, a couple meals, her hair washed and combed, some dentures she might be able to pass for hot. lol.

I kid, but I never saw anything like the girl cast. I'm not mad or anything, just interesting how they seem to be picking for the show.

She looks reasonably like what I would've expected. Might be the smile that's throwing you off. Ygritte wasn't a big smiler.

i have to admit the first one was good but the other two were kind of boring in my opinion, and 90% of me agrees with the CLERKS 2 lotr rant ( even the frodo/sam gay look part )

but on the other hand i do preciate the quality of the film and the undertaking they went through. if i could get 30 minutes with a good editor i could making LOTR more enjoyable to people like me

but i apologize if i upset you

No apology needed friend. I wasn't upset at all. I was just commenting on the subject matter as a whole. As I said I'm not a fan of Tolkien but I appreciate his contribution to the literary world. As far as the movies go you can hate or love them to your liking.

I haven't seen her in anything but she seems to be great choice for Ygritte, it's good that the actress is kissed by the fire as well.

A little spoilerish picture from tonight's Scream Awards on Spike TV

lol love Cersei's breasticles..

I have no idea who those characters are.

Sorry I never read the books. :csad:

You'll find out if you stay with the show that this series kills off beloved characters but will also introduce ones that are just as interesting if not more so than the original Game of Thrones characters. You'll be just as invested in Stannis, Brienne, Davos, Strong Belwas (and his "squire"), and Ygritte as you were in Ned.

True, there are dozens of interesting characters, but none comes close to the sheer brilliance of Tyrion. He single-handedly carries the second book and his chapters in A Storm of Swords are among the best in that book.

I guess that depends on who you're asking. Everyone has their favorites. I've even run across Ned haters on the interwebs. :whatever:

I guess there are people who'd hate a character who is courageous and has convictions but would be willing to trade away his dignity just so he could save his family.
