Maybe, I haven't read the 2nd book in years but I thought
That was Luwin's doing after they came out of the crypts and found him almost dead. edit I just read up on tower of the hand Luwin told Jojeen and Osha to hide Bran and Rickon, Not necessarily that they had to separate? I guess I just forgot that was Bran's suggestion[/S]

Yeah your right. I remember it now. :woot:

So they had a interview with the actor that plays Bran, and he actually spoils some future events in season 2 in regards to his storyline and how might it change from the book in season 2

They have left Winterfell, there was some discussion if they left it for good or if they were going to end up in the crypt. Well it is stated in the interview that they are now on the road heading north.

Only read below spoiler if you have read above spoiler

Here is my question, how is Luwin going to tell the stark brothers to break apart? Or will Osha fufill that role?

You have a link to that interview? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just haven't heard that.

You'd be surprised. Hungry enough, humans, like any other animal will eat anything. Though I don't get how the situation became that desperate.

Winter hasn't even come and they're already eating people...

It's explained better and developed in the books more. But most of KL gets their food from the Reach (ruled by Highgarden aka the Tyrells aka Loras and Margaery of Team Renly's father). They're getting no food because of Joffrey's war and are starving. Tyrion is allowing hunting in the King's Woods (pissing off Cersei) and trying to add extra fishing, but it's not enough to feed a whole city.

Doubtful. They don't show up until the fourth book. However, I suspect they may move them up to the fourth season (second half of book 3), so as to keep the Iron Islands relevant.

It's a shame they haven't included the Damphair this season, or really much of the religion of the Drowned God for that matter..

Have "mother of dragons" or "fyah and bluhd!" become memes yet?

Her eyebrow overacting is what needs to be a meme. :funny:

Tyrion does say to Joffrey, right before slapping him, that the people are starving because of a war he started.

ok I saw that interview and
I don't think you can conclude that the crypts are out yet. They did go out into the woods for a while to throw them off and then double backed to Winterfell. The only thing he let slip is that they end up north of the wall when they were talking about Iceland.

Ramsey (Snow) Bolton is being added! Holy crap this is goona get cool. I thought they were gonna not use him because he was not in the first season.

Ramsey and by extension Reek are one of my favorite duos in the whole series, aside from Jon and Sam, or Tyrion and Timmet son of Timmet. I wanna say so much more but I can't. For those not intersted in even reading the books I still suggest looking up Ramsey, by far one of the most messed up dudes in all of fiction.

All this talk is really making me finally want to pick up ADWD. Ramsey's in ACOK, but he just seems like your regular Westerosi prick/bastard (literally). There's not much about his persona that makes me go "most evil character in the book."

Thus, I shall need to read ADWD very soon.

Well I thought he had said
That they are now on the road and had left Winterfell..?

He's pretty messed up. Up on till ADWD he's in the background mostly but you know much of what he does.
It's not until Winterfell and Theon that he really comes into his own on the page, before then things are talked around and implied.

But if you look deep it's there. He and his band of "Bastard Boys" and Reek do a lot of damage to the Riverlands. During that whole "Brotherhood Without Banners" hunt for Sandor.

There are several instances of him releasing women naked into the woods for him and his hounds to hunt. If they give him good sport he rapes them and gives them a quick death then they are flayed, raped by Reek and fed to the dogs. If he doesnt enjoy the sport it's pretty much the same, but with a prolonged death.

Then there''s him marrying Lady Hornwood for her land then locking her in her tower. Where she starved to death. When they found her she had tried eating several of her own fingers.

Or there's the whole cruelty he visits on Theon and then Osha in ADWD.

He gets pretty brutal.

That part
where Theon and the Wildlings go to rescue Jeyne when she's too terrified to leave hiding in the corner of the room
...the things he made her do, with the dogs. Made my stomach churn. I can only hope that the Bastard gets given to the Red God.

I just read that they're replacing
Jeyne Westerling with that Talisa girl.
I really don't know how I feel about this...

Part of me imagined that they're actually the same character. She seems to be lying about being "Tulisa" from abroad. Sure she's still a Westerling. IIRC, they were allied to the Lannisters, or an ally of the Lannisters, so she couldn't go around saying who she was. It seems like all they've changed is how she and Robb meet.

Oh...
I really hope that's they're plan. I always thought the romance between Robb and Jeyne was one of the better ones.

How so?
we don't see them meet, or even really interact much. He just shows up with her and basically says that he took her maidenhead so he felt that he needed to marry her. Didn't seem all that well done imo.

I dunno... maybe I'm mixing up a different relationship... it's been awhile since I read the books.

Agreed. [BLACKOUT]Her character was woefully under utilized throughout the series. Hopefully she is better explored in the future OR she'll be killed.[/BLACKOUT]

If there is a reveal that Talisa is in fact [blackout]Jeyne Westerling[/blackout] then I will be okay with that, as it would establish her character more given that she did pretty much come out of nowhere in ASOS1.
