I seem to recall you quitting Glee mid-season last year. Not that I blame you, because Season 3 was even worse.
I don't think you should quit GOT. Especially this year when there are only two episodes left. However, you may in the future just want to wait until the end of the season and watch the whole season in three or four sittings in as many days. I do think the show flows better when you can watch it over the course of a week instead of 2+ months (much like reading a book and certain other shows like The Tudors or Boardwalk Empire).
If you do do that though, avoid spoilers on the final two episodes like the plague. You should not spoil those for yourself until you watch them.
Yep, Glee falls into the Covert Affairs and Smallville category. Actually, it may be a mix of both. There was no one egregious error that the writing staff made...but it seems like every episode written was an error that was so bad it couldn't be forgiven. That is how bad the quality got, plus I was never really into the music, so I walked. Plus, every character that I cared about, it seemed like Murphy went out of his way to make that person entirely unlikable all in the name of propping up Kurt (who I found to be one of the most unlikable, self-righteous characters on the show). So I quit watching.
I disagree with you about Boardwalk Empire. I feel like every episode has enough conclusion that you aren't left thinking "That's it?!?!" (as I often am with GOT) but also always leaves me wanting more and that desire makes the next episode all the better.
