That was Tommen, Joffrey's little brother. All of her children are from Jaimie.

Would people day this was the best battle they've seen on tv? I thought it was quite good but thinking of past cinematic battles like helm's deep it doesn't come close.

I think The Pacific and Band of Brothers had a few more impressive battles (Peleliu, Iwo Jima and Okinawa blew me away in The Pacific).

But for a TV series, not a miniseries, this is probably the best I have seen.

I agree. That wildfire was quite impressive though.

You already have the prequel series written by GRRM already. Or did you forget about The Tales Of Dunk And Egg? That's 3 whole books right there set at the height of Westerosi dominance. With knights, kingsguard, etc all at top form.

They're talking about seeing Robert's Rebellion which was decades after Dunk and Egg.

I'd like to see it but I prefer it remain as it is, a period of time no one is proud of and would sooner forget.

I rather it be left unseen. I like hearing the vague references to Ned and Roberts battles. Prequels have the tendency of weakening stories like that (Star Wars).

I agree, it's better as a dark time in the recent past that everyone has an opinion abut, but very few want to speak of. The only person, ironically, whose proud of that time was Jaime because he thinks (knows) he did a great thing. But everyone thinks he was the worst and most despicable figure in those events.

I'm sure Robb will send [BLACKOUT]Cat back to Riverrun in season three [/BLACKOUT](or maybe the next episode). The Tullys, really don't "do" much until book 3 anyways (book 4 for the Blackfish).

This is awesome. It doesn't look like they're leaving out any characters. Vargo Hoat and Ramsay Bolton aren't on that list, but since Hoat plays a pretty big part in Jaime's story and Ramsay was mentioned a couple of episodes ago, it doesn't mean they won't be appearing as well. It's going to be a busy third season.

Maggie Smith and Vanessa Redgrave are the go to ladies for sharped tongued older actresses.

There is absolutely no point in attacking the wall. All they had to do is shield their men on the steps while they busted the front door down. Helm's Deep should have fell in less then 45 mins.

To be fair they're orcs. They were created solely to attack and eat people. The fact that they had the cohesion to attack and scale a wall is impressive.

I'm betting they'll find someone that nobody has heard of. They may cast a "known" for Mance Rayder. But I doubt they'd be spending money for such small roles.

We already know they are casting Vargo Hoat and Ramsay Snow.

Biggest surprise for me is The Queen of Thorns. That is also so, so awesome. Wish they had cut Daario. I didn't want Dany to get even more boring/annoying.
